Okay I'll admit it I'm a perfume FREAK!!!! I think it's neat how they can come up with so many different smells and sometimes the bottles they come up with are so beautiful.
Is there any perfumes that you just LOVE or HATE? Any that bring back a special memory? Just thought I'd start a topic about perfume...hahaha kinda silly I guess but was interested in what you all had to say.

I used to be a perfume freak!! Emerade was my favorite. I acquired allergies/sensativities to fragrances and now I can't even use air freshners, dryer sheets, etc. and I'm ticked. Almost 60 years ago when I was a kid, my dad bought me a beautiful royal blue satin case filled with an assortment of Evening in Paris powders, sashshas, perfumes and bath salts. Can you believe, I still have the beautiful container of the powder. Evening in Paris is pretty much discontined, but you can get old and out of production perfumes and toilitres out of the Vermont Country Catalog.

Awww that's too bad about the allergies. That's awesome that you still have that! I bet when you smell that perfume you think of your dad.

I remember Emeraude Perfume Eppy! I loved it too- Evening in Paris-- LOL...that one too- Has the powder kept its fragrance?? Sorry about the darn allergies that prevent you from enjoying some of todays fragrances- my old physician was allergic to perfumes and had a sign in her office to patients to refrain from wearing them on appointment day--

My absolute favorite is K de Krizia. It's an Itallian perfume and the fragrance is out of this world. If you are into new perfumes, search for it on the web. It's only available in stores like Nordstrom's. It's definitely cheaper on the web! The old man likes this one, it doesn't bother his nose!

I like Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. It bothers the old man though!

I like Windsong to, but again, the old man complains!

I hate the smell of Poison! There was a perfume years ago, that a lot of women loved and made me nauseous at the smell. It was called Escape, and that was what I wanted to do!

Yes, surprisingly it still has a very nice fragrance. It's contained in a beautifully shaped glass container with a very tight fitting lid. I keep it on a perfume tray on my dresser (only empty bottles on it now) and I'm looking at it at the moment.

Can't afford perfume with the economy now. Had many favorites that I can't even imagine spending money on now.

I just use the baby oil on my skin and people are always asking what I have on - - I say - - Johnson & Johnson - - and of course, get strange looks!!
