although I am a fairly new member of this board, I have always felt extremely welcome here. I think it is one of the better boards, and at least, if you think there is a problem, you can report it to the moderators who are swift and decisive.

Lestress, I hope you are on vacation, and don't have access to a computer instead of deciding not to come back here. I really liked your posts. I don't take any of the posts too seriously. Don't get me wrong, I love reading everyone's take on the various storylines, but at the risk of sounding like my Mom, there are always a few bad eggs in the bunch. Don't let them ruin it for you.

courtney, nurse, kimyla, and belly dancing fool, it is very gratifying that you want me to return. But I just did not appreciate being told by someone that I was "not nice" and that I was "rude". I don't recall ever being unkind to anyone on here or rude. I am not by nature either rude or unkind. And the topic in the lounge where these remarks were made has since been deleted.

We are preparing here for the "white death" --- 12 to 14 inches of snow starting tonight and ending sometime tomorrow. It may never come - the weatherman is often wrong, but nevertheless, the grocery store was packed and some shelves almost empty. Doesn't look as if anyone will starve even if we might freeze. We are laying in a supply of firewood here and have our kerosene heater ready to go........

I wish we could just get past this incident-we all know that you are a nice person, and you know it too-that whole business was just a total misunderstanding and feelings got hurt and it got blown way out of proportion I think...we miss you--

So glad you are back! Please don't let others give you a hard time! If I have been rude to you, I certainly apologize. I think most of the time we have agreed and if not, we respect each other's opinions.
