I'm with you, I don't like that they are interrupting ABC daytime to air this.

Shoot, around here they bump the soaps for weather reports and for any wreck that involves more than 2 cars. Let Michael have his day.

He was an amazing man, he deserves this day!
We watch soaps everyday..this is far more important to me. He gave so much of himself(including his childhood) to the world. One day is certainly not to much to show our gratitude to him for that.
Rest in peace Michael Jackson.

Can I ask for those of you able to watch it live, can you give updates?

I'm stuck at work and can't view anything until I see the DVR recording when I get home...

I read that Mariah opened up with "i'll be there" and Lionel Richie sang as well...seems more spiritual so far from what I'm reading...

OMG...it was heart wrenching. His kids sang we are the world with the rest of them and his daughter Paris spoke through her tears and said he was the best daddy in the world. Trust me, there will be tears when you see it.

That was a lovely service. I tried so hard not to cry, but it didn't work. Brooke Shields, Marlon Jackson, Usher and Paris Jackson especially just tore me up. I was sobbing. Michael you are the greatest and you will be dearly missed. May you rest in peace. God Bless You.

When you think of his body of work which spanned decades, the fact that he was the most charitable entertainer EVER, and that he is leaving 3 beautiful children who were deeply loved and cared for, you realize who the man truly was~God bless those who he left behind.

Michael Jackson had a lot of faults , he was a tortured soul . My heart went out to him and his family , I don't have nothing but sadness for him . Like his brother said , he couldn't cross the street with out a crowd showing up . He couldn't lead a normal life .
It must be a terrible burden to be so famous ..every thing you do is on the news..good and bad .
He was different , but so are all of us .
I think people are to quick to judge other people's mistakes ..we all make them ...in the end ..we all die .
No amount of fame or money can buy life or a one way ticket to heaven.

The Barbara Walters special is on now. She sat a couple rows behind Michael's mom and kids. Barbara is in tears doing this show now.
