Well, ROGER FEDERER has just won the MOST EXCITING WIMBELDON ever and won his 15th GRAND SLAM TITLE surpassing PETE SAMPRASS 14. Congratulations, Roger and to your upcoming child. THANKS FOR SOME GREAT TENNIS. |

Normally I pull for Roger to win, I like him alot. But this time I was pulling for Andy Roddick, bless his little heart. I believe he's only won one major. Andy would have appreciated it a little more I believe. I believe Andy's wife is expecting to. I could be wrong. |

Yes, it will be great to see all the wonderful tennis players in the U.S. OPEN and hopefully Rafael Nadal will be playing. I never heard why he didn't play in Wimbeldon. Is he injured? I had thought that the 1984 French classic between McEnroe & Lendl was always going to be (IMO) the most exciting match ever. Because it looked like McEnroe was going to take the match in 3 straight sets having several CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS but somehow LENDL overcame those ROCKYESQUE ODDS and won the next three sets for a five set win. It was also very exciting because with this win Lendl proved to his critics that he could finally win the big tournaments and he went onto become and hold number for quite some time. CONGRATS, again Roger and KEEP WINNING so we can see more tennis players emerge that will go after your total wins.................................. This was a GREAT WIN for MEN'S TENNIS. |

Pete Sampras used to be my fave... then i found TGRF.... i may have to youtube some of the matches of others so i can see them..... till i started liking tennis, i could not see what people were so excited about... NOW I KNOW... If you can find it please check out the 1984 FRENCH OPEN bt. Lendl vs. McENROE. MCENROE had 3 CHAMPIONSHIP points and LENDL fought him off and went on to win the match. They played in extreme heat on the clay court and McENROE wouldn't talk to the press afterword and one of them was throwing up because of the heat. Great tennis. Also there were some very good SWEDISH players beside Borg. Roger & Roddick playedd 77 games, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
