My father was charged with 7 counts of child abuse and 3 counts of domestic abuse...my mother did not press charges he did not go to trial or jail...the agreement was he would give my mother a non-contested divorce. So, being I am not a lawyer like you and cats I can only go by personal experience! |

I hear what you're saying however I think you may be taking this too personally and not looking at the reality of what happened...as others mentioned, even if MJ wanted to just pay Jordan the $22M to go away, the cops would have still prosecuted Michael, settlement or no settlement. It doesn't matter how rich or famous the person is...look at Roman Polansky, he was guilty as sin having sex with a minor and he left the country to avoid a trial...he can never set foot in the U.S. without getting arrested, even though his conviction is well over 30+ years old. I would think as law enforcement, after taking pictures of Michael's genitals, buttocks, other body parts, his home, his magazines, his bedroom, etc etc etc...that if anything that Jordan said that matched even 1% of a single photo, Michael would have been in jail to this day AND $22M poorer. I just can't understand how this is so hard to believe that Michael didn't molest those kids....all police investigations and accusers aren't always truthful or right! Secondly, all the links provided are only a few examples I found, there are countless on the web, just search...and a quick correction, the rapper 50 cent did not have a blog about MJ, you must have read that title incorrectly. |

In other news, has anyone seen Jermaine's interview with Matt Lauer? It was so heartbreaking seeing him describe how he heard the news from his mom, how the kids went in to see Michael, etc. Can you guys believe it's been a week? Still in shock, but slowly coming to terms with the reality of it all. I can't imagine what it would have been like to have had to take those kids in to see their daddy like that. They have to be hurting so much. They are old enough now to realize just what has happened and that he is gone.
