It is all ery confusing. Michael has said his father beat him with belts or anything he could put his hands on. He was mean. Would Michael really want his children with Joe Jackson?????

ITA!! I bet he is very unhappy right now! His mom is no better! SHe knew what Joe was doing to those kids but said nothing!! If I offend Im sorry but...They were unfit parents when they had kids and they are unfit now!! MJ himself said he was abused by his father and to put his children in that mans home is a misscarriage of JUSTICE!! Where is the DCYF in that state!! they need to be there now!!

From my understanding Joe and Katherine, even though they are legally still married, do not live in the same house or even the same city for that matter. Katherine lives in LA and Joe in Las Vegas. he is never around so therefore probably will have limited contact with the children.

I do not think they should go to Debbie Rowe. Michael would want what is best for those children and splitting them up is not it...far from it. They need to stay together and try to heal as a family unit and stay close. With the media attention, estate and trust fund issues, custody battles, and all the papparazzi, they need each other now more than ever.

IMO, they also need their mother!! That in itself IMO will heal them!! and the other one if the mom reveals herself and wants him/her thats where they should go. MJ's mom is what 80 or something!! Those kids needs parents! Who will act in their best interest not wich ways will bring in more $$$$!!

I was kind of hoping maybe Janet would get them...IDK what's going on with her, but she's young (like 43 I think), which to me gives her an advantage over the mom who is almost 80.

I think they probably know Janet & have been around her more than their real mother...if they've really had no contact with their mom & they don't know her, I think it would be a bad situation to put them with her now, especially if she isn't 100% about taking them.

I agree EJ. They definitely need each other and throwing a mother they are not really close to into the mix would not be so good. Hopefully his will has made some good provisions for them.

I don't think Debbie Rowe or the other surrogate mother need to be involved in these kids' lives. They had an agreement to be surrogates only. If anything, the kids can be told who their mothers are and let them decide if they want to see them or not.

Apparently, the kids chose to stay with Katherine which makes sense--she is their grandmother and the woman whose had the greatest influence on their lives.

According to tmz.com, which you can take this or leave it...MJ wasn't the biological father to any of his kids...so if Rowe or the other surrogate mother wants to try to petition the court for custody, the outcome of those cases would set a precedent.

MJ didn't file for adoption for any of his kids since he didn't think no one (the surrogates) would contest his custody...hopefully it will stay this way.

A co-worker just told me that the 2003 will divides the estate between Katherine, the children and some charities. No Joe!! I'm sure he will be a hanger-on though!

Ya know, the woman who carried the two oldest kids, Ms. Rowe, may not even be their biological mother...I mean she has always said she was a surrogate who carried them as a favor to Michael, but often surrogates simply carry another woman's child. That would help to explain her disconnect from them. They don't look like her, IMO.

Debbie has also stated that Michael is not the children's bio father. What a mess!

Regardless of DNA those kids need love and familiarity. Neither of the "surrogates" can provide the comforts of home and familiar faces that those children not only need but deserve. Prince Micheal and Paris are 12 and 11. They are old enough to choose to remain with Katherine. We should respect their wishes...it is their lives. Michael was their father and IMO a good one. One of his many accomplishments.

I have read several books on MJ thoughout the years, this man truely loved his mother and held her in the highest regard. I think MJ would be happy to see his children with her, even if she was 112 years old. Love has no boundaries.

Anyone watching 48 hrs. tonite. I also heard today the Jackson's want another autopsy? Who gets the right to request that? Next of kin? I would think as famous as Michael is he would have legel of some sort calling the shots. Also my opinion on that doctor is, he was running scared, he knew his responsibility in this, I think it was an accidental overdose. When he ran, he couldn't undo that.

His will was filed in court (I think today) & he wanted his mom to take the kids & said if she preceded him in death or was unable he wanted them to go to Diana Ross.

Has anyone seen or heard LaToya's name since Michael died. I'm just wondering. I've read many articles, watched lots of coverage on tv but havent heard a word about her.
