Wow, it is hard to say more than has been said except that I am so happy that there are so many of us who loved and respected the the awesome person we have lost. Never has there been a death that touched the entire world in the manner that this has. People all over the world are in mourning and shedding tears just as we are. I woke up this morning and for a minute I forgot we had lost him. Then, like a ton of bricks it hit me. I still had to hurry and get the tv on just hoping something had changed over night and he was still with us. He met every single president that was in office in his years as the entertainer he was. They have been showing clips of him with Ronald and Nancy, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and both of the Bush's. He was respected by all of them and the clips were so touching. Especially the one of Reagan tell him "I want you back" as he was leaving for an tour over seas. I am so pleased with all the praises that are being shown on every channel and radio stations. |

I hate that some people in this world have decided to bring out how sad their own lives are by saying crude jokes and commentary about him. When I heard these things on a radio channel this morning while driving to work, I wanted to put my entire fist through the mouth of the person who said that...MJ changed the landscape of popular music and videos when not a SINGLE black person could air their video or music on MTV...he has helped MILLIONS of people across the world and there are people of all races, ages, nationalities, etc, who are saddened beyond belief... I'm still trying to process this all, and it is just incredibly heartbreaking...I hear some of his songs, and want to fall completely apart... omg.yahoo.com/news/leaders-superstars-fans-mourn-king-of-pop/24372 (((((HUGS))))) It is hard. LOL - I was just remembering this morning when I came into the office and told some coworkers it was because of Michael I learned to do the moon walk. Oh yeah KIR was in a break dance group. I was the only girl with 4 other guys doing our thing and I would bust into a moon walk. Yep, fling off my shoes at the office and showed the girls I could still do it.....we had a good chuckle. LOL..so you busted out with the moon walk at work today...I know your 30+ year old knees and ankles were popping and creaking like crazy...lol...much different from when you're a teen or kid, hunh?

What most people don't realize is that MICHAEL JACKSON'S career spanned for 42 YEARS, twice as long as either ELVIS or LENNON. I bet they are already forming a new band in heaven, and finally Michael is at peace. God Bless. yes. i agree. he is finaly at peace now. |
