Thanks alwaysEJ I will defiantly be watching. There is not a radio station in my area today not doing a tribute to Michael Jackson. I am listening to Smooth Criminal right now and I can still see him leaning forward. I can also still see myself trying to do this move and hitting my head on the table. |

I am truly saddened by this. I had his folder in kindergarden..I remember watching the Thriller video over and over again trying to learn the dance moves and I have jammed to all of his popular music. 50 is so young to pass away. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson and I will be praying for your family and friends. |

I feel awful that this has happened. Something just doesn't seem right but never the less, I grew up listening to his music every day and just can't believe he has passed on. Such a tragic ending to an awesome icon. R.I.P Michael. The world will still be listening to your music. |

This is a very sad day for the entertainment biz. Michael will be missed. Even my husband is sad and can't stop talking about it and he hates celebrity news. Michael Rest in peace. |

it is very shocking. he was working on a comeback and i had very much anticipated that. talent like that never leaves. i know there were scandals but i prefer to remember the good things about him and his amazing talent. there will never be anyone else like him....he inspired and influenced so much. i don't have a single memory that didn't involve michael jackson in the 80's. he revolutionized music videos even more with "thriller"...as someone else mentioned, i had jacket like his too!! LOL..the zippers! the way he danced....amazing. i really wonder what brought on the cardiac arrest? he was only 50. i am going to get a collection of his videos to have to show my kids. i'm just still in shock over this! |

What a sad sad day, I grew up watching Charlies Angels and taping Micheal Jackson and The Jackson Five posters all over my bedroom wall. I'm stunned and my prayers go out to both families. He has always been the biggest superstar to ever grace this planet from the time I was 5 and will always be, there will never be another for me. RIP Micheal. |

Years ago, I worked at a place where we made the black slinky jackets for Michael's THRILLER TOUR. Normally we could purchase the jackets we made, but not those. Girls were daily stealing piece by piece and taking it home and when they got everything they put it together. Me, Iwas so sick of looking and working with that crawley, slinky material you couldn't give me one. I loved watching him perform, he was the greatest. My favorite song is MAN IN THE MIRROR. Loved to watch that MOON WALK.I'm 58 and an embarresment to my 40 year old son. I'm devastated, can't believe it. |

Quote KeepingItReal: Woke up this morning, the skies are gray, turned on my tv and saw it was not a dream. Michael Jackson is dead. Tears came down my cheeks and all I could sing......woman no worry about a thing.....cause every little thing gonna be alright.... Your not alone...... R.I.P. MJ xo KIR...I'm so numb still...I'm trying to process that it actually happened...this man has been in my life, my ENTIRE life, he and his brothers, and it's crazy to think that he died so soon. I was driving home from work, flipping the channels when someone came on to announce that Michael had passed, and I was numb, got home, and my husband and I were just in shock. I hate that some people in this world have decided to bring out how sad their own lives are by saying crude jokes and commentary about him. When I heard these things on a radio channel this morning while driving to work, I wanted to put my entire fist through the mouth of the person who said that...MJ changed the landscape of popular music and videos when not a SINGLE black person could air their video or music on MTV...he has helped MILLIONS of people across the world and there are people of all races, ages, nationalities, etc, who are saddened beyond belief... I'm still trying to process this all, and it is just incredibly heartbreaking...I hear some of his songs, and want to fall completely apart... http://omg.yahoo.com/news/leaders-superstars-fans-mourn-king-of-pop/24372 |

In the wake of Michael Jackson's death I wake up in the morning feeling sick like I have lost a good friend. I remember being a little girl and scared of death of the thriller video but being so captivated with it I had to watch. I remember watching the moon walk for the first time and thinking it was fake, realizing it was real I felt Michael Jackson could do anything from that one dance. In memory of Michael Jackson I vow to never let his music fade away in my life or my sons who is to young to know. He had such an impact on me and my passion for dancing I could never thank him enough for giving me my passion. The death of this remarkable man is very painful for me I just hope he has the peace he has always wanted. RIP |

Quote Bryceson: I have been to many concerts in my life and I can honestly say his was the best ever. I really was in awe of this mans talent. He did and will continue to influence many, many artist. He was a excellent performer and will be missed by many people. I feel for his family and friends I can’t imagine what they are going thru as a fan I know I will miss him very much. I am not concerned with how a certain posters will remember him. I will also keep my opinion on their post to myself. I will remember his music, his dancing the money he raised/donated money for charities. How he kicked butt and took names at the grammy’s and how I rushed home from school to see the premier of his Thriller Video on MTV and how I pleaded with my parents to buy me the red zipper jacket he wore in the video. Okay stop laughing I was in elementary school when I had the jacket LOL RIP Michael Joseph Jackson Too bad you don't still have it. That thing will never go out of style, and I don't think it ever did. Even if he was not recently...dead? I don't know the right wording fot that statement. Sorry. There will never be another MJ, and never again another breakthrough like him. He changed music videos forever, in addition to the music! I really wish I would have gotten the chance to see him perform live...I know his sister (Janet)put on the best performance I have ever seen, so I can only imagine MJ's. |
