Rest in Peace Michael. You were a gifted performer. A little odd, but who wouldn't be after growing up as you did.

Let us remember he never had a childhood, he was acquitted on all charges, and putting aside his legal woes and the acqusations, this man taught us how to lean without strings, line dance with the zombies and to moon walk. All great things.

This man was a musical genius. There will never be another one like him in our lifetime.

Accusations are just that....accusations.

He has overcome diversity in the worst way, and gave his heart and soul to redifine music and give us something to take with us for the rest of our lives. To this I say....We love you Michael, and finally may you see peace.

i loved michael jackson. this is pretty shocking. first farrah and now this. michael had a turbulent childhood and had a lot of demons of his own. i'd rather remember the good things about him. he was extremely talented and one of the best performers i've ever witnessed. he will be truly missed.

Well, it looks like everyone who responded to that horrible post about Michael has been reported as a bad post...but I don't care. I have never done this before and won't do it again, but, hey, why delete people that reacted and not report hers....I just did!

Okay, I'm done now....just could not get over it. In all the years I have gone on boards, I have never seen anything so cruel and cold.

I rest my case...now...bye.

Attacking me, and wishing me ill does not make up for... or undo the evil that Michael Jackson perpetrated against many innocent young boys.

The fact that he didn't go to prison is more about his Lawyers skills, than of Mr Jackson's innocence. He was terribly abused as a child... and like almost all child sexual abusers, that abuse was passed on to more innocent victims.

The reality is that MILLIONS of dollars was paid to families of the victims to buy their silence... but that money will not buy back the innocence of childhood... or restore a child's damaged psyche.

And yes... I do know what I am speaking about, because I, too, was a child abuse victim... but unlike Mr Jackson, I did not grow up to abuse, and molest others... but instead, worked hard to inform people of what to do to prevent that from happening to their own children.

I have been on 60 Minutes, 20/20, Oprah, the Charlie Rose Show, as well as doing hundreds of other interviews, and public speaking engagements on the topic.

I do think it is sad that none of you seem to think that the pain that the victims of Mr Jackson suffered is valid... and I hope that none of you ever have to deal with such a trauma in your lives... as many of you seem ill equipped to deal with such a painful issue.

Please keep this on topic about Michael Jackson, and use some good taste when it comes to discussing a persons VERY recent and VERY public death.

what are your favorite songs or memories of michael jackson? i know i will never forget billie jean! i can't remember if i saw it on night tracks (old program that showed videos that pretty much went off the air when MTV came out - lol) or MTV but i just remember being mesmerized by him. i know he was solo before his album "thriller" but it was one of my favorite albums of all time and still is. i still remember "beat it" and the other songs that were famous. he was so incredibly talented. anyone have any favorite memories or songs to share?
