that is awful.... i tell you some things could have been avoided.... im wondering when the funeral services will be.. one thing about it, that cardiologist should not be getting any more patients..

Oh what a relief. "Judge Grants Michael Jackson's Mother Temporary Guardianship of His Children". Michaels manager was the one who had to break the news to them of his death. His manager was in tears at his interview. He said that he was allowed in to see Michael and kissed him and told him that he loved him.

I hope his mom keeps those kids away from their grandfather...he was deplorable last night in his interview. Booooo Joe Jackson.

I also hope, if the doctor is in any way held liable, others are as well b/c this doctor was brought in only a few weeks ago by the people handling Michael's London shows. You don't reach the state Michael had in a few weeks.

Missed that part and thought while watching the show and ther performers that another thing with the music of that time and especially MJ...you didn't have to bleep out the words. Down to the ending I had to flick....all the bleep bleep....

If Michaels mom is still married to that man....I don't know how any court could give them custody.....sorry but his actions and his attitude....if I was a judge there is no way I would award them custody if she is still married to Him!

Since Joe was there, at the bet awards i wonder why he didnt speak on the family's behalf... That is what a patriarch of a family would do... I bet they didnt want him to...

even at the hospital the day Michael died, Jermaine spoke to the Media... Joe seemed like he was just a regular ole spectator in the audiance... Lord forgive me for judging someone in their time of Grief, but he just didnt seem too mournful.... I know that had to be awfully hard for Janet..

Maybe Katherine has something in the works...., One thing about it, Joe will try to stick around, since he knows Michael adored his mom, and probably left her something substancial.... Lord this is a mess...

The more I think about it, his death doesn't surprise me - he looked like he was seconds away from it for years now. Whst surprises me is that it takes his death for people to say nice things about him (myself included).
In his life, once that first accusation flew he was outcast - by our society, by the media, and also by the world as a whole. He had since been ridiculed by every media source I ever saw where they ran a story on him, either on his physical apprearance or his personality. Even in my own personal conversations, we would always say "He's the greatest musician to ever live, but..." Now all of a sudden the hypocritical media, especially, cannot say enough nice things about him.
I don't really have a point in this, but I just wanted to get this out there. I hope we all learn from his own history - that regardless of what he did/didn't do, I bet the majority of people who will read this can group themselves in with me and the media in the fact that we all judge.

I think it's great that Katherine has filed for custody of the kids...she AND Joe didn't file, only her. I think it might come to light about the separation...I hope this is Katherine's ticket to get the heck away from this man!

Of course, some of Michael's siblings are parents as well, and if the judge balks at Katherine getting custody because of Joe, then perhaps Rebbie, Jackie, or someone will step up...FINALLY, and be the oldest child...poor Michael was the 7th youngest out of 9 kids, and he bore the weight of his entire family, their families, their family families...on his shoulders...I hope the Jackson family collectively will do right by MJ and his kids...

If Joe Jackson was as disrespectful to Michael right after he passed away can you imagine how disrespectful he must have been while he was alive? Or as a child for that matter. The interview that Michael did years ago with Oprah will go down in history. She asked him point blank the questions we wondered about his father and Michael was point blank honest. But without the gorey details. What a sad sad life.

Katherine has temp custody of the kids...apparently there is also a will, and she, the kids, and charity inherited everything.

Thank God--Joe Jackson was cut out!

Also, it looks like the family may have public viewings of the MJ later this week, his body is reportedly on the way to Neverland Ranch sometime today, and there will be a maassive motorcade.

Geez...this is really happening...
