Although it was expected, it's still a sad day. She was truly an icon of her era, I'm sure there are millions of males around the world remembering her as such right now. |

Farrah was a kind, beautiful, talented woman who most will sadly just remember for her beauty, but she was so much more. When she left Charlie's Angel's it was because she wanted to be known for more than her looks and she set out to prove it to her "critics".She had the acting chops to get meaty roles. I will NEVER forget her role in "THE BURNING BED" she did more to help violence against women than many professionals. She was a brave, optomistic, and courageous family-oriented woman. God BLESS and GOD SPEED. We will miss you, FARRAH. |

This is so very sad. She was still so beautiful and vibrant and then the cancer hit. She was very brave and battled it head on. Her death is a great loss to us. Rest in peace Farrah. You will be missed... |

Quote jilltidwell: Rest In Peace Farrah. Did she&Ryan ever get married? No, I read that they did not get to have the marriage ceremony Ryan said would happen when he talked to Barbara Walters. Ryan had asked her many times through the years and earlier on, she felt they didn't need to, that their relationship was already like a married one. I feel so sad about this. Through her career of fame and beauty, she supported battered women, and the fight against cancer, even before she was diagnosed. God Bless, you Farrah, may you have peace and eternal love in God's care. |

Quote BaileyBaby: Quote rei1: Quote cats meow: Quote rei1: I caught glimps of The View this AM....it will be in to interview with Barbara Walters, but Ryan was talking about how since Redmond couldn't be there he asked his dad Ryan give his mom a kiss for him, well Ryan did as Redmond asked and kissed Farrah and poor Farrah was so confused and thought that Ryan was Redmond. I think they may have been a good thing for Farrah..at least in her mind she hugged and kissed her son one last time. It was so sad, I had tears running down my cheeks Rest In Peace Farrah!! do you know what time it will be on and what channel? thanks it's 20/20 so that would be ABC and my guess is it will air at 10pm EST..maybe 9pm..I don't know if I can watch it. It will be so much more powerful now that she has passed. (gets the tissues ready just in case) It advertized for 10 p.m. EDT on ABC tonight. I was just wondering if it would be pre-empted because of her death?? I am sure it WILL be on tonight....and Barbara Walters said on The View this morning that she was in her last moments. Actually, she had already died, but Barbara did not know that. So, I am almost guarantee you it will be on. |

They will both air tonight. |

Thank You!!! I have been racking my brain trying to remember the name of the rapist movie "Extremities" I never saw it on but a couple times. Hopefully they will show it again in her honor. "The Burning Bed" was awesome. I don't think anyone could have played that role as well as she did. |

Yes, Sarahconnor I do remember Extremeties, she was stripped bare for the camera and when I say bare, I mean her emotions were right at the surface, you could "FEEL", SEE, and almost taste what was happening. One thing about Farrah was her heart was as BIG as the state where she was born. TEXAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What man, probably even some gay men DIDN'T have that famous poster up on their wall in the 1970's and beyond? What woman of a certain age, didn't go to their hair dresser and demand a FARRAH FAWCETT hairstyle? She truly was an awesome woman in so many ways. And she was married to the very handsome Lee Majors and although not married to the love of her life, Ryan O'Neal spent almost 30 years with him. My prayers are with not only the family but especially with Redmond so he will beat his drug addiction. Redmond, Farrah will be watching over you, please get strength from that. |

I caught some of the 20/20 episode and I feel really bad for her family and friends that they lost a huge part of their lives with Farrah's passing. |
