I'm going to get my knee drained today and I was just wondering if anyone else has had this done.Does it hurt?How long is recovery time? |

These are questions that you should ask your doctor. Someone on a message board, who is not a medical professional and or has never examined or treated you could not possiably give you any advice. Yeah I was in the Emergency room yesterday morning and I have this huge knee brace on and they think I have blood behind my knee.They can't drain it at the ER but when I get back they have to drain it. |

My husband has has numerous knee surgeries and gets fluid build up from time to time. He said the relief from the draining is instant and he didn't seem to be in pain during the procedure. Of course, everone is different, so I hope you are up an around on two feet soon. Best to you. |
