Quote sarahconnor:
Quote Plot-Twister: Go eff yourself - Dick Cheney LMAO

America is the best country in the world....I wished mine would be as good. Tony Blair.

LMAO...wow good ones! i hear some Tony Blair ones before too! it's so cool he praises the U.S but not his own country!!

"i worship the U.S. but as for my country? the big ol middle finger" - Tony Blair

Does this mean you might take my quote from the other thread as really being from Tony Blair? Because I really did not know the extent to which he praised us, and thereby demeaning his own country. I have not heard these other quotes before. Interesting.

A bit on the lighter side.... Not exactly a quote but my Mom used to say.....

"Always make sure you have clean underwear on!! What if you got in an accident?? What would they think of me???"

Somehow that seemed a bit self-serving!!!!! ROFLMAO!!

Pretty is as pretty does.

Have no idea where it came from, or what it means. It just makes me smile. All right. I'm gonna lay off for a while, sorry.

It's just right over the border." --Sarah Palin, explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, interview with CBS's Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008 (Watch video clip)

"I'm the mayor, I can do whatever I want until the courts tell me I can't.'" --Sarah Palin, as quoted by former City Council Member Nick Carney, after he raised objections about the $50,000 she spent renovating the mayor's office without approval of the city council

Did you make this thread b/c of me? B/c I was going to do the same thread today. I love quotes, as you have read before! I will be on this thread all the time.

what? why noooooo. we made this thread b/c quotes are inspirational!! but i'm so happy you will share quotes!

All of your responses can either fall into "sarcastically funny" or "sarcastically rude." I honestly cannot tell, yet I do need to know.
If it is supposed ot be funny, then I can actually see the humor in it. Just make sure you can recieve the banter as well, without taking offense, and not just give it.

edited to say this post completly jacked itself up. I did not edit the format of this, it just went crazy on itself. Hope you can see what I am saying through the mess.

Hello! if we don't stop bringing things in from another thread this one will get closed down too.....Please reread Kathryn's post.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all....I don't know who said it.

I'm not bringing anything in (if this is to me)- I just can't tell if she's laughing at me or with me, thats all. I would have asked this regardless of our's or any one else's past. Here is my explanation: When I joked with her about attrinutions, I actually wrote out I was kidding. I simply can't tell with her reponses so far. Words mean more than smilie faces for me, though I can still appreciate sarcastic humor if that is what it is.

I love this thread and am not going to do anything to close it down. As I said earlier, I was actually going to put it up myself. I just got beat to it.

lovesit, sigh. i just don't understand why you have these thoughts about me. i feel so...hurt. nahh not really. insecure much are you? i guess i grew up with few insecurities so i'm trying hard to see your side. let's just say i'm sarcastic. i have no idea where this "need to know" comes from as you never felt the "need" to clarify yourself when i asked - sooooo why should i? take it as you will. but i absolutely love the hypocrisy of that last statement you made toward me - (bolded part) - i got a good laugh from that.
