I just have to say something. It's great for people that want it, but this is forced on us. It's not right you have to have one more thing, converter box, and another remote to keep up with and replace when it quits. I have a T.V. that has Analog and Digital tuners. What about the people that can't afford to upgrade? To me the American people were screwed, it should be a choice. It just gets all over me everytime I think about it. What's your opinion?

Wouldn't it cost more for the cable providers to continue offering & servicing both? In the end, the customer picks that extra amount up in the form of higher bills.

I love digital TV...I can't imagine college football without it.

Apparently it was changed to "free up" the air waves for use with other "techno-krap"... Sorry, but I feel that the techno-age is going to strangle humanity!!

Remember... We only know what we are told....

They have been announcing the digital change for like 1 year. So if people can't afford $50 over a years time then they don't need TV!

I nominate this for the post of the day. So true!

And the switch was supposed to happen back in Feb. but people 'weren't ready.'

If you use your T.V. with rabit ears then it will effect you. If you have a digital T.V. then you probably have cable or dish.

I really don't have an opinion, I've had digital cable for so long...the switch hasn't affected me at all.
