Wedding season has begun, so I thought it might be fun to toss out ideas for wedding &/or baby gift givers. |

If you buy diapers buy them in a size 2, the baby is never NB or size 1 for very long. I usually put together a basket...diaper rash ointment(Butt Paste or Balmex is the best imo), Tylenol and Motrin, Mylicon gas drops, orajel, lotions and shampoos, diapers of course and wipes, those little kits with nail clippers and things like that, and I always throw in extras such as onesies and socks, outfits or whatever, and I put it all in one of those decorative wicker laundry baskets. As far as weddings...I just give money. |

But of all the rash cream I think Boudreaux butt paste is best. My son never had a diaper rash. |

For Weddings, I do something similar. I do kitchen/meal supplies. I like doing a huge metal strainer and gourmet pasta and spaghetti sauce (Rossi is the best) and then put gadgets, towels, ect....It goes over very well. |

I think my favorite baby shower gifts are thing that baby can have for a while like I got a picture frame with 4 slots for each seasons that I really liked. Also I got his baby book. Stuff like clothes and diapers are the normal I like special gifts. Gift cards always come in handy!! |

Everything that my hubs had to go out in the middle of the night for, I put in the "cabinet" which was a diaper genie or something useful. I also have done the tub with all of the "fixin's". Weddings, I typically give money unless they register. Or, if they are in a tight financial spot, I chip in to cover the cost of a DJ, or a couple extra servings of food for the caterers...something like that to make their day what they want and ease the financial burden. Usually I only do this for close friends or family because I don't want to be presumptous. |
