Was reading on CNN.com last night that "The Beast" may not be renewed for the new season. Not definate yet....
If it is renewed they will have another actor take the part played by Patrick Swayze because of his declining Health.
The article was not specific about his health but IMO I don't need to be a doctor to know that this can only go one way.....
I feel so bad for Patrick, his wife & families & also for all his fans!!

Doesn't he have the same cancer Michael Landon had?

I know Patrick is not doing so good. i know they said he had a lung infection and couldn't receive anymore treatment, until that cleared. But i have to say I heard that he had continued smoking even after his diagnosis. I think that is pretty foolish. He says he wants to fight this thing, but he is doing something that will inevitably make his condition worse. Personally I don't think chemo, and radation are the way to go with treatment. Patients just feel horrible, and I think radation some how seems to kill people faster. Look at suzanne Somers, when she had breast cancer. She was told by doctors to do chemo, but she didn't go for it. They say she went for a natural treatment, and it seems to have worked. she's still around, haapy, seems healthy Sometimes we should listen to ourselves instead a doctor. I have to say they don't always think they are the most informative. I hope Patick can get through this the best he can, and live his life to the fullest.

I'm sorry Greek Godess....but I don't think you should be saying which way would be better or not because you don't know until your diagnosed!You can say you wont do this or wont do that but until your actually diagnosed with cancer, you just don't know. There are so many people that have survived through chemotherapy and radiation, and there are people that have died. There are people who have survived with just natural medicines/alternative therapies, and there are also people who die from it. Every single person is different. Patrick Swayze said in an interview that if he was guaranteed to live for a long time that he would stop...but since its pretty much minute to minute....he wont...I don't want to come off rude but having cancer...and hearing so many people speculate what should and shouldn't be done for treatment just bothers me. Each person responds differently to everything. Sometimes chemo is better for people and sometimes its not....it all depends on the situation. Its also so sad how the press is invading his privacy....I cannot imagine going through everything I am and then having paparazzi taking pictures, and spreading stories, which may or may not be true...its none of anyones business...and I think they should be banned or something from harassing sick people...it makes me sick.
