This doctor Murderedover 60,000 babies while he was alive! What about them? No one cares about that right! It's not like he aborted them before 2 or 3 months he was murdering fully formed babies sometimes over the 8 month mark!! That is sick!! Your all this poor doctor, yes the man who killed him was wrong and should be punished to the fullextent of the law! but sympathy for Dr. Killer I think NOT!!!!!! Oh and by the way for all who said what he was doing was legal, some of these late term abortions(that he performed) were done in a states where it was illegal so that makes him wrong!!!! I like how you say children like he was in there killing 5 year olds or something. Instead of worry about the choices that women are making for themselves if you are worried about children so much why don't you do something about kids that are starving to death or the 100s and 1000s of children that are getting mass murdered in Africa. Or better yet how about the millions of kids that don't have a home in this country. You don't agree with abortion okay well instead of judging others why don't you go and adopt some kids or foster some? Because it doesn't matter what happens to these babies. They can be abused, homeless, addicted to drugs when they are born, developmentally disabled, living in institutions or on the street. It isn't anyone's personal responsibility to do anything for these potential murder victems except save their live....after that no one cares. And don't anyone dare to ask for welfare for these unwanted kids. And really? Am I interpreting the other post right? That doctor was a bad man so he deserved to die? My neighbor is a bad person...can I kill her? If that is aimed @ me, no I don't think it was right that this man took his life, I have said repeatedly that he(his shooter) should be punished to the full extent of the law! What happened was awful! But do I feel bad for Dr. Killer? No I don't! Did he feel sorry for all the lives he ended? I doubt it! if that makes me a bad person, so be it! I've noticed in the last 10 years the amount of people who kill their newborns or children they sometimes get punishe but the ones that kill their wives who are pregnant most often when caught they are only punished for the actual living person they killed and the baby no one really notices (because it didn't take a breath) except for the family that has lost them! I think it's because since RVW the line between right and wrong has become so frayed! I believe that life is precious and we should protect it at all costs! I know first hand how scarry it can be when that strip turns pink. I had a plane ticket and had quit my job and was planning to pack up and leave my then boyfriend(now hubby), My husband was so angry( he all ready had full custody of a child from a previous relationship) when I told him and gave me an ultamatum get an Abortion or leave, well I choose my son's life and it all worked out! My hubby still apoligizes and tells me every once in awhile now how glad he is that I followed my beliefs! Because life without our children is no life at all! Like I said before also I know people who have had them, I know someone who had one due to skin color, or not knowing who the daddy was so rather than deal with the repercutions thay ended the life! I know one person who has been to 4 states and has had 7. All because she is too stupid to use protection. Along with those 7 she has 3 living children that came in between after her last was born she had her tubes tied( should have had that done long ago JMO) These are why Im against it I have never met anyone who had it for a medical reason or rape. These are the main resons why I'm against it! It's not birth control, people need to realize that!! Yes, my question was directed at your post. I didn't understand and thought you were saying he deserved to die because of all of the people that he murdered. Another thing I don't get is why people who have had "suprise" children and didn't have an abortion think that their choice should be everyone's. That everyone's situation is the same as their own. This is directed toward no one in particular, just an observation from many conversations. Why should my child or anyone else's pay for their mothers stupidity? If we had used protction it wouldn't have happened ( I was on the pill but had strep). when you think about it some women could have a surise every month, end head off to take care of it. Is that okay? I basically believe that life is precious and should be protected. Would I stand in front of a clinic spewing my beliefs? Hell NO! It's not my place. would I encourage someone if they asked me my opinion(which has happened to me)? No! but I would be their friend no matter what but that being said would I drive thm or make any arrangments for it(thats happenend too)? NO! Than I'd be just as guilty and how would I face god? These are my opinions only and if your not me why would you care we are all entitled to our beliefs wether they be right or wrong!! Why do you assume that every person who has an abortion is on state funds? There are many people who have the procedure who require no assistance from tax payers. Further, most states have a moratorium on state supplementation. So, if a family hits a rough patch, they are worked with to get off the system. I haven't been in the system since I was a child, but it seems to be a bit different than it used to be. I didn't say anything about state funds. I know it's just as many with $$ you just don't hear about them as much!! |

Personally, I'm for the death penalty b/c it's much cheaper to flip the switch on those in society who are the dregs of society ie., Murders, Rapist and Pedophiles, than to provide them with food, shelter and clothing. If these people are allowed back out they are more likely to do the SOS just a different day. Good question Grits. I guess it would depend on Kansas' laws, unless the feds take over. If it becomes a federal investigation, then yes they could put him to death. Clearly he'll be charged with first degree murder, which ups the chances he could get the death penalty if it's an option. If murderers, rapists, pedophiles, etc. were put to death fairly soon after sentencing, then it would cost less than housing & feeding them for years. However, the appeals they are entitled to also cost the system (the 'system' meaning you & I, the taxpayers) a great deal, & by the time they are finally put to death - usually years after their original conviction & sentencing - they've cost the system tons of money anyway. So from a cost perspective, I don't know which is more expensive - leaving them in jail the rest of their life, or sentencing them to death. Considering the high recidivism rate of those that, for whatever reason, don't spend the rest of their life in jail, I say put them to death for society's sake b/c the odds of them not killing or raping or molesting a child again are slim. |

I do have some qualms about the death penalty, but as long as we continue to abort innocent children for any & every reason, then I am not going to lose sleep over criminals who have violated others, in some cases taken their life, being put to death. Babies are innocent, criminals are not. The fact that we regularly kill innocent babies without batting an eye & continue to debate killing criminals is a bit ridiculous. |

I find it interesting that the theory of "you tend to hear about the abusers of abortion more often than those who don't abuse it" is still persistant even after others share their stories. Of course the leeches of society always get press....it makes for a better story. It riles people up. It creates this "theory". Kinda like the theory "you will find the thing you lost in the last place you look for it". Well Duh! Why would someone keep looking for something after they have found it. But dang, it sounds profound doesn't it? As for the death penalty it totally blows my mind that prolife people are for the death penalty (many are). I guess some lives are more important than others. Yes it is expensive to house them. Yes there is an extensive appeal process. But there are also people that have been found innocent who are on death row. Do these lives not count? What if you were the one who was on death row but were innocent? Would you be satisfied with that knowing you were going to die as collateral damage? And EJ...It offends me - Seriously offends me - every single time you say that pedophiles should be put to death. I have explained my son and his problems on this board very often (in short I have an adopted son who I had to turn in to the police because he has pedophelia. Not easy, but then again, NO ONE would help me when I tried to get counseling for him after he was abused) So every time you say that you are telling me my son should die. I don't know how NOT to take that personal. I know you will poo poo that like you do every time....but you wouldn't like it if I kept saying that a member of your family should be killed. No matter what they have done wrong, a person is a person. An abortion is about a choice. Pedophelia is usually caused by sexual abuse. And here is the kicker...We know what causes it, but to get treatment for it? Yeah, that costs too much money. Insurance won't pay for it. No government help. People don't care. I wonder if they would care if my son and I lived next door to you? Would you have called your congressman then? You are right Plot. There are self righteous people some who post on this board who could care less about what has happened to any of us. You see in their mind they are the only one that matters or is right. There is no way in their eyes that we could have made any right choices or needed to do things that they do not agree with. I get so sick of the way we are talked down to just because we don't fall at their feet and tell them how right and awesome they are. They don't care about my story or the others stories. They would not bat an eye if your son was in the electric chair and they were watching it. And they damn sure would not want a penny of their tax dollar used to help your son. I feel sorry for these people because they have no clue just how horrible they treat others who are just as good or better than themselves. We can just thank God that people like that are not running the country or we would all be getting the death penalty for having our own minds. Just remember that the vast majority of people in this world are caring and kind. We just have to see beyond the noncaring ones. There is another side the the coin but they are not gonna flip it to see. Their minds are closed. I wonder what these people would do if they had a child that was gay? You never know, someday thay may have to eat their words that they sling so freely at others. I wish your son the best and wish desperately that he could get the help he needs. But, you are right. No money no treatment and the treatment would be tens of thousands per year. No one or no way can thay be paid for. There are no funds for this in our country. No one cares though. Well I take that back, many of us care but many don't. You know the their saying...Pro-Life/Pro-war/pro gun/pro death penalty...a contradiction in terms for sure. |

I look at it a different way....why don't we try to help the innocent abused children before they become pedophiles? I find it ridiculous that people want to bring innocent children into a world where no one gives a crap about them and simaltaneously deny help to sexual abuse victems who were abused at such a young age they cannot remember it. So everyone who feels that way can go ahead with their perfect little worlds and I really wish you to have a horrid experience where you get no compassion from people. I hope someone who feels this way has to carry a child concieved from rape. I hope someone who feels this way has to carry their dad's baby. |

It is a shame that it is falling on deaf ears to some you are so high above the rest of us they think they are the "chosen ones". They think they are judge and jury to the world of people who dare not agree with them. My what a tiring job it must be. And I like you hope that someday all the smart advise and condemning spewed to others comes back and slaps them in the face. Perspective would be a very good thing. |
