morning all,

we are gonna have rain off and on the ENTIRE weekend... blah...well i really didnt have anything planned, but still if you do have to venture out... that aint my cup o tea..

daughter wants me to get her from school during my lunch... not that she is gonna do anything when she gets home..

the guy is supposed to come this morning to get my fridge situated.. i hope so... had to deal with water when i got home yesterday afternoon....

i do not want my weekend ruined by water running all over...

anyhoo... hope you all have a great startup... if you are traveling be safe on the roads..

my hubby's uncle died very suddenly last night. so we are still in shocked over that....they are thinking he had a heart attack. he was in his early to mid 50's...

today, the kids and i are going to to our church's clothes closet. our church has it open 24/7, and someones, or someones decided to throw the piles of clothes all over the place.....

dcorn, so sorry to hear that... my condolences to you and your family..

honestly, people sometimes have no regard for others... you would think they could at least leave things neat... or i wonder did they just randomly ransack things...

That is good to keep it up.... Most of the churches in the area here have some sort of outreach ministry... You know the devil would love to have it shut down... The Lord put it on your heart to do it...then be led of the spirit and do it,,, it may just be for a little while, you never know, someone else may come forward...

i need to go through some of my stuff again, and especially my daughters and send to our church.. sometimes i dont want to give to goodwill, cause they like to sell it...

Oh Dcorn, I am so deeply sorry for your families loss. Death is difficult enough to deal with but he was so young & it was so sudden..... You are all in my thoughts & prayers.

Don't know why people have to be so distructive. There seems to be no respect for anyone or even themselves.

On another topic..... First of all I don't want you all to think I live under a rock but given my age (nearly 60) I guess I am so-o-o-o out of touch with kids (mine are in their late 30's). That being said... Last night I was talking to a guy who lives near us who heads up a drug task force in the area. "DRUG TASK FORCE!!" I said... "FOR WHAT??" He explained that most of the drugs found in our school district is Heroine. HEROINE!! OMG... I thought that was only in NYC or other large cities not here hooterville pennsylvania (term I use when discusted with living rural).
I was stunned.... WhatTH is wrong with kids?? WhoTH is providing it?? I guess that is what the DTF is for, to find out... How Sad We send out sweet kids to school & they can become Heroine junkies.
Well, that was my BIG wake-up call... Quite enough....

my gosh herione??? how aweful!v i live ina big rural are also. lots of woods... are big thing here is meth...
it is easy to make and you can hide your lab in the woods...
it is a shame!that is another reason i homeschool!

one thing about it drugs used to be (or so everyone thought) an urban/or minority problem.... but it is everywhere... just seems that it was more outed in the inner city etc...

that is a shame that some of the drugs like heroin, cocaine etc are so readily available... people are making meth in labs at their homes etc... just awful....

crack is more prevelant in urban communities because it is cheap.... but believe me, someone with planes, boats, etc are bringing it in... and its not your run of the mill drug dealers, that the tend to lock up....

get the bigwigs, and stop them, and most of the problem will cease...

Hello guys.Dcorn-Sorry to hear about your husbands uncle.I've not been on in forever.Today was the last day of school and we got out at one.I'm soooo happy.Well,talk later.

hi gymnast... i know you are glad school is over... it is here too.. i picked up my daughter at 11:45....

graduation is tomorrow... poor kids, i hope they dont get any rain...it is supposed to be rainy all weekend... i guess they have an alternate site...

boy... i called Farmer's furniture to extend my payment till next friday.. i told the lady i had something come up... (which i did) i have my water bill, and if i paid them, i couldnt get any groceries...

so when i told her something important came up, like me needing to eat, she said next time put them on the IMPORTANT LIST... i tell ya i wanted to say something, but i just held it... THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT... people sure can wear on you...

well thanks for letting me vent all... (heeeeeee)...

I am going to sign off here & wanted to wish everyone a safe & fun Memorial weekend. I know Memorial Day is a time of prayer & rememberance but it is also a celebration for Family & Friends.
