drizzy, dreary, and drippy, hope this all passes.... daughter told me last night she had to have something for a party... so we went to walmart and got some cupcakes..

boy .... no lie, i have 7.oo and some change in my checking acct.... cuttin it close.... i said lord no unexpected surprises.... gas is creepin back up... they know what they are doing.... holiday coming up... and the summer...

anyhoo.. hope you have a great startup... and i will see ya on the boards...

been busy with jasmine this morning..did not want to leave my side for anything...



hubby gets to work tomorrow!!!! first time he has worked 5 days all year!!!!!! they only have 4 employees working now though....... quite a change.. 3 years ago they had 30 employees.....

So tired of tough times... DH only a few years from retirement & we are struggling to get out of debt. Tough to do when monthly expenses & taxes creep up constantly & pay goes into the vortex of the good ole' toilet.
O.K. enough of my rant....
Weather her is Beautiful... sunny & 84 degrees this afternoon & another day I will call perfect!! Boy, that is another day I said our weather is perfect!! That has to be a record!!

rain here... guess it will be off and on for the holiday duration hope something shifts and blows it another direction... especially over my off days...

Good Morning all!!! Do anyone have anthing plan for this weekend??? My family are all going to Ft Knox but I think I will stay home, relax and save my money. GAS PRICE WENT UP ABOUT 10 CENT OVER NIGHT!!!! that is crazy.

DH just called & he will be home in about an hour. He hasn't been home for a couple of days. Truckin' is picking up but the loads are getting farther away!! Less home time.... really stinks!!

Today's is softball awards night. Ashleigh's team got first place for their age group, 10U. Her birthday falls weird b/c she's among the oldest on her city league teams but one of the youngest in her grade. She turned 11 the day before season opening. Next year she goes to 13U.

Tommorrow is the last day of school, which is kinda agravating to me b/c the kids turned in their books Fri.
They have been watching movies, and playing borad games all week. I can almost see it in 1st grade or kindergarten, GMAB. Your education tax dollars at work. I mean if they aren't going to actually be working why turn on the lights for an extra week. Another thing that aggravates me is that our county is the only county in AL that our seniors (65 &up) do not get full homstead exemption. In every other county in AL the seniors don't have to pay property tax on their primary homes, guess it's b/c we have the beaches, which attract tourists and drive home values up.

afternoon grits.... congrats to your daughters team... my daughter played rec softball on the girls 7-8 team at our local rec dept... that was it for her... she did the soccer and cheerleading too. since i worked there it was free.

last day of school here too... tomorrow... they had a party in one of her classes this morning... took last tests today... guess tomorrow she will want me to come get her on my lunch hour... and that is my bill paying day...

i already printed out the calendar for next year... they go back Aug 7..

well i better get the drivers checks put together...

Fridge still leaking... guy was supposed to come this morning... but apparantly he is ill.... i have compassion, but tired of water running all over, and getting on the legs of my couch...

my kitchen area and part of my living room are close...

wanted him to be done, and overwith first off, dont want to keep toweling up water, and 2nd who wants to keep dealing with that, especially on your time off... thing abut it my hubby said he would flush it out for cheap... which is good, but he aint coming to do it which is bad..

calgon take me AWWWWWAAAAAYYYYY!!!!

IF I could swing it, i would just get a new fridge and be done with it....
