Mama was definately one of a kind! It sure breaks my heart. I really believed our prayers would get her through this. She will be missed greatly.

I dont know why I am so shocked by this news.....my heart is aching that she is gone....but I bet she is putting on the best spread ever for all the lovely angels she has been reunited with now.....my heart and prayers are with the family now....this is a sad sad day!...Rest in peace Mamabing......we loved you dearly!

That's so true gommie. With her cheerful and upbeat attitude one would never have imagined she was in such failing health - and she never let on. I suppose that why we were all taken back by this final crisis. God Speed, Anita.

Exactly eppy- she always came across so strong- there were times when she appeared to be out of breath -as though she had been running--but she would make light of any comment to her health-she never let on how fragile she was- this place just won't be the same without her-- -I never saw her laughing face, and yet I have a picture of her in my minds eye- thank you mama for sharing this last year with us-- your recipes will live on through the lot of us-

Oh no...I'm so sad to hear about Mamabing. She will be missed by so many. Many of us who don't post a lot still read many of the threads and have come to know so many people through the light-hearted conversation. Mamabing was a special person and may she rest in peace.

Allow me to tell you from first hand accounts my mama loved to laugh and man you could hear her for blocks, when we were kids playing outside Mom would laugh and the neighbors would laugh too, just because you could hear like she was standing right next to you and she was inside our house, mama always said "laughter is lifes best medicine."
As far is her failing health she would never let on to you or anyone that she needed O2 24hrs a day, or the surgeries she endured over the last 5 years, she loved the good things in life eating, which I can also attest to her being very good cook, family and friends, and never wanted to burden one of them with her troubles. She was all about enjoying life and that she did.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mama ...also enjoy her posting she will sure will be missed on here...god bless her soul..to Mama
