Hello everyone!! I am bacckkkk....miss me?? I sure did miss each and everyone of you. California was wonderful, family time was wonderful, but being home is even better! My house has only me and Luke the cat in it and the silence is deafening!! Pray that all your ill ones are better and that your lives are all going great. Nonnie, how is Laura? Grangran, how about your sister..been so long since I have read the thread, must have missed a lot.

We are getting a nice, slow rain in Texas today, trees are changing color, grass is green, now if the river would fill up, all would be great. No complaints, will take what we can get when we can get it.

Hi, grangran - Is Frances' surgery still scheduled for next Monday? Still thinking and praying for you both.

My daughter, Laura, will be finishing up her 5-day-a-week radiation on Thursday of this week which is her birthday. Although she's not in pain, she's having a hard time dragging one foot after the other. She says she couldn't sleep - it's not that - but she's just feeling so exhausted. She peels herself off the couch to do one small thing and then has to go back and lie down again. She eventually gets everything done in bits and pieces. On the 25th, she will have a hysterectomy because her particular breast and bone cancer is estrogen driven. We don't know what will happen after the hysterectomy except for bi-monthly PET scans.
