Hello everyone, I get a treat today I usually cook Sunday dinner for my two sons. But one of them just called and said our neighbor is grilling out today and he is going to bring me a plate. I can't wait, I love food from the grill. Hope all of you have a good day.

Good Monday Morning all. I hope everyone had a safe weekend. Here in Huntsville/North Alabama we had some pretty rough storms on Friday afternoon. Thankfully no serious injuries. It's raining here today and we are under a flash-flood watch/warning for most of the day today.

My niece-in-law in Ohio is 20 weeks pregnant. It will be a boy! However, the little boy will be the child of a couple that cannot have children on their and my niece is the baby's surrogate mother. Please keep her, the baby and the parents in you prayers.

My dear friends, and I am going to name all of you that have supported me - - nanna, grangran,shorty, shela, oreo, lomille, coastie, CindiAnn, cats meow, Oreo, clicquot, kaycountrygal, memory24 and nanna. I hope I didn’t miss any names of all of you wonderful people who were there for me before my sister passed and all the kind words I found on this thread when I returned.

It has been a very hard two weeks and I am still in the denial mode, but it will take time to even talk about it.
Hope all has been well with all of you, but see some of you are still in need of prayers and you certainly will get them from me.

Where is nanna? Haven’t seen that she has posted lately. Does anybody know?

Will be back later and it is great to be back on this thread with all of you.

Hi, puddycat - It's so great to have you back again as we have really missed you. Im so sorry to learn of your sister's passing. She hadn't been well for a long while and now she doesn't have pain. As you know, this isn't something that you get over easily and you never forget.

I saw your post on the birdseed thread. Interesting thread, huh? I'd have never thought of feeding them chicken scratch but, then again, I didn't know what it was and I've never even been near a chicken. It sounds like a great idea so I'm going to ask at the feed store where I buy birdseed. Gosh, that bird seed gets expensive especially in the 50-pound bags.

Glad to have you back. Hello to everybody else. It's cold and windy here in central PA. It's supposed to go down to 30 tonight so I've been scrambling around trying to get my herbs into the house. My little simple-minded Siamese (sort of) cat thinks that's the most interesting thing that has happened since last fall. She's funny in that when she's concentrating or is tired, those beautiful blue eyes cross way over to her nose but when she's not in deep thought or not tired, they're normal which makes it kind of easy to tell what her mood is.

Hello to everyone and I am glad to see you back on the board puddy. I am still praying for all of you and yes puddy it is hard to accept.

I see some of the missing ones on the update board, guess they are to busy to post on both boards. Maybe they will drop in soon, they are missed.

GLASSLDY55 - It's bad enough to have the flu and then to have a new little pest in the house makes it worse. What kind of puppy is it? How old is he or she? Hope you're feeling better soon - sure wipes you out doesn't it? We'll be looking for you when you feel better and maybe you can post and tell us how you are.
