Quote lorree: simscb: This is my first day on Y&R Buddies, just found the site. I may not do this right but will try anyway. I read where you wanted to know who it was that had yelled at you and not long before I read that, had read the daily update post..it was on page 13. Do not know if I should put the persons name on here or not but figured the page number is ok. I have been jumped on a time or two, so do not do a lot of posting, but sure do love reading everyones and this site is just great, as I said did not know anything about it until today... lorree:---welcome aboard! All a "BOARD". (I'm trying to make humor.--Not that good at it, huh?) Some posters are great comedians---keep me LMAO. Make sure you read the guidelines--don't do like I did on my first post---made a boo-boo. I can smile about it now. --Well guess what--the mistake paid off because we now have this site (Y&R Buddies) because of my and some others "tattle-tales". I'll never do it again--scout's honor. |

Quote got2beme: Hi~ My first time posting on this site. I've posted a few times on the Y&R site. Mostly about my disgust with the current storylines. Been watching for about 27 years I guess. I read thru the posts often just to find out what's happening. Have four children so don't always get a chance to watch especially with them out of school for the summer. You all seem like a great group of people so just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Traci and would like to join in your posting if you have room from time to time. Thanks! Hey Got2BeMe:~~~welcome. there is always room, we are all priviledged (sp) to post per Candace (admin.).. None of us own this site--we just must adhere to the guidelines which are more relaxed than on the Daily Updates site---on here, you do not have to discuss Y&R -- but you can if you want. Isn't that great? |

Sporadic, nanas3, & others who have sick family members... I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts & prayers. I have a soft spot for folks who help take care of sick family. I did it for three family members for ten years & at times I felt alone, overwhelmed, tired, sad, scared and all sorts of feelings. In the end though I was so glad that I could help them. You all take care of yourself as best you can. Kay 12:15edt NC |

I think the greatest gift is to give of oneself or help others. Wow. I have never had to help someone for such a long time. I can imagine the mixed feelings you must have gone through. I find that in the end, something nice always happens to me when I'm nice to others. You will get rewarded for your good deeds. Thanks for sharing with us. You are special!! |

foreverY&R - Wasn't that heartbreaking to see Michael Jackson's little daughter crying about her Daddy's passing? I'm not much of a cryer but, boy, that did it. Gosh!! I didn't watch the whole thing - just a couple of minutes and right then is when she came on. |

Help everybody - My family and I desparately need your prayers for our daughter, Laura, who was told today that she has breast cancer. Laura is 45 years old; has an extremely high-pressure job; is going through a divorce; has two sons, Ben and Nate, who are 15 and 12 and a private boarding school is trying to woo Ben into leaving home and attending their school because of his abilities and although she's upset that he would be away from home, she doesn't want to - darn, I'm so upset that I can't even think straight - you know what I mean in that she doesn't want to hold him back if he wants to do this. She discovered the lump on Sunday, had a digital mammagram on Monday, got the results yesterday, saw the surgeon today who immediately got in her face and said he can tell even before the biopsy that it's malignant. Her biopsy is tomorrow (Thursday) and if the results are what the surgeon says they will absolutely be, her surgery will be on July 16. We don't know what will happen after that for sure but can venture a guess. I understand that the course of treatment is different for everybody but with our prayers, I'm hopeing that it won't even be necessary. Please keep Laura in your prayers. The old saying about how life is what happens when you're making other plans sure does apply. |

Healing prayers are being said for her. Doesn't sound like a very positive doctor. Maybe get a second opinion?? |
