Hello Everyone, Thought I'd pop in & see what's going on. It is a hot 90 temp day in central NC, was 95 yesterday. I agree that everyone has the right to post & noone should be rude or disrespectful to anyone else. We are all entitled to our opinions re YR. If I dont want to read certain comments, I just skip skip. I too am disappointed & irritated in the story lines of YR these days. While it is quite evident there is a tight band of friends who have been here a very long time most do not lash out. Do not misunderstand me the poster who came out to say "shut up" was dead wrong. And I know it was hard to ingnore especially to the poster it was directed at. That stuff hurts...and it hurts everyone. Do onto others as you would want others to do to you. Glassldy..! I agree with everything you just said. There will always be someone to stir up trouble.......it's how we handle it that counts. |

I have been watching Y&R since the beginning. This show was always outstanding. The s/l and the actors were the best on TV. I could not wait to watch. Thoughts of Fridays cliffhangers followed me through the weekends. For the first time none of this is happening for me anymore. And after reading the posters comments on the daily updates I see I am not alone. I would hope someone who can make a difference with the way the s/l are going is reading what the fans are writing. I do believe we have had enough. This show is no longer entertaining. It is all very sad. As it stands now it should be on the sci-fi channel. I will check in and read updates from time to time but I will not be watching any longer. I have already taken Y&R off daily TiVo tapping. Not that my opinion really matters, make no mistake for everyone of us that posts our feelings there are at least 1000 who are feeling the same and not voicing their opinion because they think it will not make a difference..! Please get it together folks. But with all that said I am not that naïve to believe it is all the writers fault. In the end it is the producers who are allowing this to happen. Good luck to all. I suppose all good things do have to end sometime. |

I am a strong Y/R fan and want to post here too. Everytime I post here someone remembers when I made a "boo-boo" as a first-timer and Called someone out. I apologized and the poster involved rightfully reprimanded me.---But some others keep bringing up the suject. I forgot about the school kids that may be trying to bait us and cause trouble--thinking it's funny---But it's not funny. --- Some of us need this site--some of us need friends.--- We all need to be vigilante and weed out the "intentional-troublemakers". I will ignore those posters---but I plan to post!!. I am too smart and old to be intimidated by any poster. lol |

Thanks for responding to me. - ----I felt bad that I said what I said to Candace  but the "Daily Updates" site is not to discuss personal issues---so I was not wrong ----but I should never have called someone out.----I didn't know that at the time.----I read some of the comments some posters make about being kind, caring folks---some even asks for prayers when a crisis arises.---I'm amazed when those same posters make ugly comments to others--- I will not take advice from those types---I will post. lol  Thanks again. RE: people being kind and caring, asking for prayer and making unkind comments, even using some profanity....I for one can not understand how one can be a Christian, use profanity, take God's name in vain, etc. ANY TIME you use God's name in NOT A REVERANT WAY, IT IS TAKING HIS NAME IN VAIN, AND GOD WILL NOT HOLD HIM/HER GUILTLESS THAT DOES THIS. Not just my opinion, but in the BIBLE. And this means the constant use of OMG. Yes I know it's out there everywhere, but that doesn't make it right. |
