I want to figure out how to put some kinda picture on that sillouette thingy of a lady. My name is Lisa...I live in what used to be the country before development took over. My neighborhood is old tobacco farm land. We've been here for about 11 years...our house was one of the first to to up. Now there are about 4 or 5 even bigger developments up and down our "country road". I have 2 kids...10 and 11. I couldn't get pregnant...tried for 5 years. Fertility specialist, surguries (endometriosis). Gave up and adopted from Guatemala. Then a few months later...I got pregnant with my miracle baby!

k-bit - that sounds similar my uncle and aunt MANY years ago. My aunt could conceive, but would miscarry prior to the 3rd or 4th month. The adopted a daughter of an un-wed mother that my aunt was working with, then barely a year later she had a son and two years later had a daughter.

I hope that no one told you like what happened to my ex-sister-ib-law, though. She and her husband adopted 2 kids and when they had one of :their own" her MOTHER told her she should return the first two. Her oldest was just turning 13 and overheard this and is caused her some severe problems for a few years.

CindiAnn...nothing that rude...but a few "friends" did say something like...dang...if y'all had waited just a few more months, you could've saved 30 thousand bucks! (the adoption cost). But we do kinda have a running joke in our family...buy one...get one free! We talk very openly about my son's adoption...he's the one who came up with that one!It's all in good humor!

I'm gone for now...yeah...I said that a while ago. But I'm serious now! Wonder if Caterpillar will find us? I think she's looking.

Good morning everyone, I'd like to apologize that some of my posts yesterday were too personal for the board :-( Guess this will be a good thing, but it makes more to read and my hubby is fussing now that I'm on here too much:-(
Must get some housework done today. He's insisting on breakfast now. No he's not an ogre!! But it is true I stay on here way too much, but I just have to read all you guys.
