Thanks Carol. Saw my medical oncologist today. He said he & the surgeon will help me "watch" my new problem. He did say that I was probably going to need more surgery eventually. The scar tissue seems to be running amuck & that may be what the new mass is. Naturally, my imagination is kind of running wild too but they are doing another biopsy in six weeks. There were no cancer cells in the last one but they are just taking a tiny little strip, what they can get in a needle, out of a chunk bigger than a peach pit (& getting bigger). I don't know what's going on but I don't like it.

PS: I take 1000 units of Vit D, 1200 mg Calcium, & a Centrum Silver & sometimes fish oil & Vit E. if I can work them in. Along with 13 rx meds & 4 doses of insulin a day. Full time job keeping up with my meds. lol.

KMC320, I do have Chihuahua, not sure exactly how old she is because I rescued her from a lady who's husband didn't like the dog and was taking her to the pound! The lady said she is full blooded but I think she has Terrior in her! She is bigger than a Chihuahua. I love to to pieces although she is up my butt on a constant bases! She barks at my husband every time he come into the room...at first he would get mad but now he just ignors her! She is deffently not affraid of the larger dogs next door either! I think the smaller you are the moxie you have!

Blue501; I hope you don't mind my reading your post about your visit to your oncologist. I am not new to cancer, I lost both my sister and brother to lung cancer. Sister in 2002 and brother 2007. There is a site that you can go on and get all kinds of information on new treatments, clinical trials etc. You can also chat live with people who are going through the same thing as you. The web site is www.cancercenter.com I found this site very informative and the people that are on the chat line are wonderful. My sister and brother both waited to long to go see waht was wrong with them and byt the time they did, they were both stage 4. Again, I hope you don't mind my popping in on this! God bless you! Blue501: Hang in there Girl! I've never had cancer but my father & aunt did. All I know for sure is we could never totally relax with it. Always something popping up & going to dr & tests & blood transfusions. I am so sorry you are having problems. Please know that you are in my prayers. Kay in NC 9:10a.m.

Hello Peeps. It is a beautiful day in NC. We're supposed to have some rain Thursday & Friday. Wow! The grass is really growing.

Today if all goes to plan I will be working with honey. Right now my boyfriend is at the hives & will be bringing some frames of honey to work with.

Glassldy... You poor thing! Not sleeping at night is terrible. I have heart pounding that developed recently & it keeps me awake. How I wish I could sleep the way I did many years ago. I've never heard of your problem but you are in my prayers that this doctor you saw can help you with meds. I really really empathize with your problem. Kay 10:03pm
