Quote kaycountrygal: PEOPLE WHO WORK IN OFFICE: I'm curious. How do you all manage YR posts at work?? Doesnt your boss ever notice what you're doing? or does s/he assume you're typing re work? I remember when I worked in an office & there was no way I would have been posting re a soap because (1) I didnt have time & (2) afraid I would be fired if caught. Just wondering. Quote CindiAnn: kmc320 - "My motto - if you can't get it right the 1st time how will you find time to do it over?" How true! Of course, my husband told me one time to find the laziest one around to do the job. S/he will find the quickest and best way to do it, thus leaving more time for the essentials - i.e. having fun I've never have that kind of success with the lazy ones. May try it again tho'. |

Quote kmc320: Quote Blue 501: Quote kaycountrygal: Blue501... Betsy, yes, keep thinking positive. I've always thought it was mean to keep patients waiting a long time for results. Maybe one day the doctors will have to wait & worry & they'll know what it feels like. I do hope & pray all is ok. Yes, I mentioned bbq last week. My neighbor roasted a pig & had great bbq sauce to go with it. Some pork was chopped; some was just big ole pulled chunks of meat... GOOD. Let's see if I can make you hungry. With the bbq, she had potato salad, baked beans, slaw, hushpuppies, strawberries dipped in chocolate, & birthday cake. Oh, I nearly forgot; she had roasted oysters which were ok. I tried two. I'm a FRIED oyster fan. IF I ate many roasted ones, I would have to have moonshine to wash 'em down (LAUGH) I know what cracklin' cornbread is but it's been a looong time since I ate any. I cant recall; are you in NC? You said you liked NC bbq; it is good. I'll check back later. I'm going outside to my swing before it rains... again. Hang in there Girl. Kay in NC 11:00a.m. It worked! My mouth is watering. Yes, I was born & bred on the NC coast, Snead's Ferry to be precise. And my folks have been in that area since 1709. You can't get much more Tar Heel than that! We are old fashioned people. The stories I could tell you about handing tobacco out of sleds, floundering with a lantern & gig, looking for pirate treasure. I live near Raleigh now. It takes all night to make the best bbq. You need a pit & hickory & a bucket of vinegar with red pepper in it & a clean paint brush & about 12 cold beers per helper & you stay up all night painting the mix onto that pig & drinking that beer & keeping the coals just right. But I am not proud. I will eat it out of a cooker too. Blue don't get me starting about my husband his-story. He came from Lenoir, Kinston. He loves to tell about his genealogy. His mother is a Green and he's getting ready to go to Greentown to his only surviving aunt's surprise BD party in July. His mother could easily acclaim to be white but his child surely can't. That's my baby. The blood ties are so strong that I was calling another child for mine. I gave birth to her. We all had alot of laughs. Hi, kmc. They know how to make good bbq around Kinston too. I used to live in Chapel Hill & take 70 to the coast. I always allowed an extra hour so I could stop in Kinston or Goldsboro & fill up on bbq & hushpuppies & slaw. |

The worse thing I can do is tel my He Man that I chatting with anybody from NC and it's on. He asked about Aden which he protest has great 'Q'. |
