Gay characters on soaps

i started this thread in the Y&R in error, tried to get it moved but there was a problem so i will have to start over, |

Funny thing is that when this character first came on most posters thought he was sexy.I wonder how many of them are now going to moan and groan. |

Just be happpy Y & R wasn't cancelled like GL. All sls on all soaps are not for everybody, understandably. |

I have missed a lot of the eposodes recently. Who is the character?? |

I haven't watched YR in quite a while and while I don't care for gay sls or have many gay friends I understand that the soaps are for everyone and have to include sls from all walks of life. To me this is a person has the right to choose gay or straight, beleive or not believe, and even to have kids or not. As long as they don't belittle those who disagree. |

People don't choose to be gay or straight. In order for you to believe that you would have had to have chosen to be heterosexual over being homosexual. Sexuality is something that is intrinsic and not chosen. |

Not to mention we are about the same age..... Not to mention our affection for the felines in our lives!  Any Who... Here's to us Cats.... As my late Mom used to say... "Just because there is snow on the roof doesn't mean the fire is out in the furnace!!"
