Weighing in at 147lbs, 27.0% body fat. Had a week of alot of cream and cheeses which punched up the BF considerablly, I was sitting around 24% 3 weeks ago. Ideally I'd like to bring my bodyfat back down to 24%. I was thinking of aiming for lower (21%) but I have a long distance ride in mid June so I'll need some extra in reserve.

Just wanted to check in with everyone. I have been in bed with an infection, so I missed posting in the last few days. I am still going on with my life style change. I ate red meat last night for the first time in about six weeks, and man did my stomach hurt afterwards. So today, I just tried to eat veggies and some noodles, and that went better. I am finding now that I have been doing the calorie counting and restriction, I have a very hard time getting in all of my calories... mostly cause I just can not eat as much as could six months ago. I also had a diet coke last night for the first time in about six months and man did my head hurt afterwards. I never thought I would see the day when I could not finish or did not want any more diet coke. I used to drink at least ten a day before, now I know I can't even go near it. I also came across a new invention that I like. Well I invented it....so of course I like it. I needed something cold and sweet the othrer night... and I don't really like ice cream which is all I could find in the freezer. But I did find some fat free plain yogurt that I usually use instead of sour cream. Anyway I mixed with some frozen barries that I found behind the ice cream and broke up a fruit and granola bar over it... man it was so good and it really hit the spot, and got me over my need for something sweet. Hope everyone is doing good on their lifestyle changes, and I hope you are all being good to yourselves.

Hello Everyone, Sorry its been awhile since I posted. I've still been working on maintaining a healthy eating style. However, I've been having a hard time the last week. My younger brother (only sibling) just told me he wants to quit school and join the marines. I'm devastated. We are very close and I'm terrified. I'm terrified that when he gets sent to war....he won't come back (God forbid) and if he does come back that he is not going to be the same person and psychologically scarred from war. I'm just ...sigh... I'm just so upset and I want to be supportive but I also want to help him look at why this decision is not the best for him. Sorry if that is waaay to personal. I just wanted to get it off my chest. He hasn't told anyone else.

Yes the best reward will be being at my goal weight and feeling good inside and out! really wish it would stop raining so that I could get out and go power walking. Work out dvd are great but its hard to find the time for those but go outdoors and enjoying the weather wouldn't seem like so much WORK!!! Weight lose would go much faster if I could get my butt moving! Have been doing commercial break workouts (LOL) I do spead walking in place during all the commercials of aswt and gl! Its something anyway...(LOL) When the weather is bad outside and I can't make it to the gym, I run around the house like a mad woman.. And I use two phones books to step up and down on... boy that gets me going...

Wow its been awhile since I posted. I've gotten side tracked with the kids being out of school. any way things are going pretty good. the weight isn't coming off as fast as I would like but they say slower is better. I'm now down to 150 ! So 12 lbs are gone!!!! I promised to reward myself with a pedicure at 10 lbs so I'm going to get one tomorrow evening yeah me!!! Now my next goal is to get to 140 and at that point not only will I need to go shopping for clothes but i'm going to get me a nice pricy new purse!!! Hope you all are doing well to...

I'm so ready for my pedicure tonight!!! Found a great new product-fiber one muffins. I don't have a box handed right now for me to tell you all the specifics or ww point value on it but it does have 7 grams of fiber which helps keep you full and they taste WONDERFUL. I've tried apple cinnaman and banana chocolate chip!! They are a little pricy at $3.00 a box and there is just 3 inside but that is how it is with all of the healther choice snack foods they always get ya in the pocket book
