I cut sugar out of my tea last year, and lost like 5 lbs really fast. I love tea without sugar now, I prefer it that way If I go out and they only have sweentened, I cant drink it, I rather go without.

I find if I work out first thing in the day its easier to keep doing it everyday. It gets to energized for the rest of the day. Its out of the way fast so I dont need to make time later. I have a treadmill a few hand and leg weights and a squat rack with a bar. I am pretty set up so I just need to use it. The treadmill was like 200 bucks at walmart and I love it, it was the cheapest one and it folds and has wheels. Had it for 2 years and works just fine. Small dumbells and leg weights are only about $20-30 a set at walmart too. The squat rack is bulky and I would not get one if I did not have it already. I did not buy it. I would just get like a barbell I can lift and throw on my shoulders and squat that. The rack just allows heavier weight that you may not be able to get off the floor and over your head.

Okay today wasn't to bad but I haven't had dinner yet. so far today had a slimfast shake for breakfast 3 ww points
weight watcher frozen meal 6 ww points
handful of baby carrots

no exercise today hopfully tomorrow

be back later with dinner points or calories

homemade chil with beans and saltines was 10 points. Mostly because of the crackers. totaly points was 19 before I made a big boo boo on my first day and had icecream and it was 6 points . I should have 22 points a day. But over all I'm still happy with myself because I did better than I have in a long time. No candy bars or chips and thats a big deal for me.

I just received a lab report that my clorestrol was too high... but not dangerously so. The Dr. asked if I wanted to try medications, but I had heard some reports of bad side effects, so decided against it. They can make a person very achey and fatigued - I sure don't need that since I'm that way anyway. So, we are going to try diet. The one thing he told me was to go very lightly on any food (inc. milk, butter, eggs, cheese, cream) that comes from an animal that has a liver. That include fowl, pork, red meat. Anyway, that advice was also good for weight loss. He said make 1/4 of your plate protein, 3/4 veggies, fruit and grains. Sounds good to me.

Morning all, Started the day off good with a slimfast shake and then a glass of water. I'm determined to drink my water! I'm making myself have a glass before I grab a diet dr pepper... by the way in Jan 08 I stopped eatting cereal and went to the slimfast. I lost 23 bounds and went from a 14 pants to a 10 in 10 months and did no other diet changes or exercises. Just shows how fatting healthy cereal can be when you eat a bowl and not the 3/4 to 1 cup serving!!

Ok I figure I need to lose around 25 pounds....there is no way I am posting my actual weight...

So I dug my Wii Fit out (see how bad I am?) According to BMI I am "overweight". (Tell me something I did not already know!) I am leaving for Disney world in two weeks and would like to lose 5-10 pounds before I go.... I can see it now, everyone thinking I am the friggin' Dumbo ride!! But I think I can manage that... i am a pretty healthy eater already, I really need to just exercise!! I have a YMCA annual membership and the Wii Fit....Does anyone just have the time?

Sassy you may drop 5 pounds while you're at Disney World...it's been a few years since I've been there but I remember walking a lot. Take some great shoes b/c you'll get a great walk in everyday whether you want to or not. Enjoy the trip

Have any of you heard of the banana diet....

(not that I am going to do this, I just saw it on the news awhile ago...) Anywho, You eat a banana for breakfast and a banana for lunch and then you can eat anything you want for dinner....

I guess it is extremely popular in Asia, so popular they cannot keep bananas, and the ones they do have they sell for a sh!t ton of money.

I wish I was making that up.....Isn't that bananas? LOL

wow that is bananas!
No way could I do that I would pass out from low blood suger. I've never been one to try odd diets weight watchers pounded it in my head that healthy eatting and portion control is the key. Have been dump enough to try a few "diet pills" ect and they all made my heart race and I felt bad and not one pound was erased. Well I take that back Ali worked for about 2 weeks and then that was it and really if you eat right you don't need it. Trust me if you eat bad you will be on the toilet forever!!!
