Jack runs into Molly, Craig follows Carly, Rosanna pops a question and Damian and Lily decide to adopt Noah.

At the hospital, Luke tells Noah how sorry he is that they fought. He wishes he had more faith in them and needs him to wake up. Holden and Meg come in and Luke wishes Noah's aunt would call. Bob follows them and tells them that Noah's brain is still bleeding and there could be serious damage if they don't operate soon.

In the hall, Damian tells Lily that they should adopt Noah so they can have power of attorney and call the shots. Meg and Holden come out to tell them how dire things are. Lily explains their plan to adopt Noah. He runs off to take care of this. Holden thinks that Luke deserves to be heard about this and they should wait. Luke comes out and tells Holden to back off.

Meg follows Damian down the hall and warns him how hard this adoption would be for everyone. She asks him what will happen if the truth comes out about how he married Lily under false pretenses and brings up Officer Grady. He accuses her of trying to stop him from moving in with Lily. He thinks she is being petty. He returns to Luke and tells him the paperwork will be there soon. Bob comes back and says that the window of opportunity is closing. Damian explains that they are adopting Noah and gives their consent. Bob agrees to give the go ahead on the surgery.

Meg corners Damian and apologizes. He tells her he's not offended. She wants proof and kisses him.

Craig tracks Carly down in a bar in South Carolina. She's just been drinking seltzers and orders him to leave. He tells her that he's taking her home to her children. She refuses to let Jack deal with his demons on his own. Craig still refuses to leave without her.

Craig takes Carly to her motel room. They begin trading barbs and he insists that he and Rosanna trust each other. She says her sister never learns from her mistakes. Craig admits that they wouldn't be able to live with themselves if Carly relapsed and ended up in the gutter. She taunts him to call Rosanna and tell her that they are in a motel together. He owes up to letting her down and claims he doesn't want to abandon her again. She insists that she has turned her life around and asks him to leave her alone. Before he does, he finds a vodka bottle in the trash. She claims she dumped the booze out and called her sponsor. She knows that she'll never be out of the woods. They share chocolate and he asks her why she's chasing Jack. She says it's because she's scared to see him unravel like this. When she tells him that Jack is looking for Simon, he's not pleased. "Jack is lost," she says. She owes him and has to bring him home. "Jack's off on an emotional bender," Craig summarizes. He's glad that when they screw up, they don't lose their identities.

Jack is in New York City talking to the weather guy at CBS news. He's looking for a reporter who might have a lead on Simon. Jack pushes down the hall and into the reporter's office. He's shocked to find a scantily clad Molly in the room. She confesses that she has been having an affair with a married man. The weather guy comes in and complains about her boyfriend and then walks out. Molly explains that Abigail is grown up and back in California while she's now a news anchor. He begins asking about Simon. She shows him the video footage she has of an art heist she's sure he pulled.

They go out to a press conference to watch the congressman who Molly is having an affair with. She's sure he's going to announce his resignation from public office. Then she can be with him as he's promised. The congressman introduces his wife and children to the public instead and Molly tears up. It gets worse when the congressman announces he is running for governor. "He swore that he was going to leave her for me," Molly weeps. She vows that he won't get away with this. Jack won't let her make a public spectacle of herself. Molly steps up and nearly reveals everything but Jack rushes her away.

They return to her office. He tells her she's still a fool for love and she deserves better. They chuckle until the weatherman interrupts to say they have to go on air. Molly hugs Jack goodbye. "Don't settle," he tells her.

Rosanna goes to see Emma at the farm house and offers to help her out. They talk about Craig and Rosanna admits she's not sure she knows what she's doing. She's scared that her sister might go back to drinking. She calls Craig to ask him when he's coming home. He informs her that he is in South Carolina with Carly. He apologizes for not telling her everything. When he gets off the phone, Carly tells him to go home and leave her to do what she needs to do.

Back in New York, Jack watches the news broadcast from the back of the studio. Molly confesses to her affair with the congressman on the air. The director orders that they go to commercial and then fires Molly. She vows to make sure everyone knows about the congressman. Jack slips off and calls Carly, asking her to come to New York to help Molly.

Craig returns to Oakdale with flowers for Rosanna. He apologizes for not being more considerate and tells her he'll get the hang of being honest. She nervously asks him to marry her. He flashes back to Carly's hand and then tells Rosanna that they should get married.
