Katie goes home, Jack lashes out and Damian refuses to back off.

The doctor tells Katie she can stay in the hospital with her son until he's ready to leave. She just wants to go home.

In the corridor, Craig stops Henry from going in to see Katie. He tells him that all of this his fault and orders him to leave. After Henry does, Craig and Rosanna go in to see his sister. He's startled to see that she has packed to leave. She claims she has no choice. He offers to be a better brother to her and asks her to stay with him. He promises to be a good uncle to her baby and she sends them to see the baby alone. Once they leave, she nearly breaks down.

Henry tells Barbara that he's afraid he may have lost Katie as well as Brad. He'd set up a trust fund or scholarship for the kid but he gave all his money to his mother. Barbara says that she got all the money back. She explains that James' second will wasn't legal and the money is actually Paul's. Henry's afraid he's going to be paying for his mistake for the rest of his life. She tells him that there are far worse people than him, like his parents, and he didn't fire the shot that killed Brad.

At home, Lily tells Lucinda that she feels bad about deceiving Holden by trapping him into a trip to the cabin. Lucinda says this is for the best and walks out. Damian arrives with the annulment papers she sent him. He reminds her that they vowed to spend the rest of their lives together. "We can't keep those promises anymore," she says. He notices she's got her bags packed. She explains that she's taking the kids away for a break. "We need some time apart," she tells him. He doesn't think this is fair. "Don't make this any harder than it already is," she says, asking him to sign the papers.

Holden drops by to see Jack. He's not doing well. Jack tells him that he followed a lead after one of Manzo's men last night but he couldn't follow through. Holden can understand how hard it would be after what's happened. "I don't want to hear this from you," Jack says, defensively. Holden says that no one blames him and wishes he could help. Jack worries about Liberty and how much more she can take. After Holden leaves, he packs his gun and walks out.

Damian runs into Holden at the Lakeview. He sees his bag and asks him where he's going. Holden says he's going away with the kids. "You've been set up," Damian tells him. He explains that Lily is waiting for him at the cabin while the kids are really with Lucinda. "If it turns out that she chooses you to spend the rest of her life with, then so be it," he offers. Holden doesn't believe it.

Jack goes to the hospital and stares in at the baby. Katie arrives and tells him how much the baby looks like Brad. They talk about names. "I'd tell you 'I'm sorry' but it'd be meaningless," he says. She asks him what really happened and how he shot her husband. He tells her the story and admits that he's the one who shot Brad. He fired two shots in the dark and hit the wrong guy. Jack wouldn't blame her if she hated him now. As he breaks into tears, she throws her arms around him. She doesn't blame him for this and knows Brad wouldn't either.

Craig and Rosanna go back to Carly's. As they embrace, Jack comes in and begins laying into Rosanna. Craig defends her, asks him not to pick a fight and offers his condolences. Jack accuses him of not giving a damn about Brad and begins taunting him, suggesting that he must like being able to blame this on him. Craig tells him that if he and Brad weren't always hellbent on proving how heroic they were, everyone would be better off and this wouldn't have happened. Jack pulls out his gun and orders Craig to tell him that he has no one to blame because he is the reason this has happened. "Call me a murderer," Jack demands. Craig says it was an accident, but if he pulls the trigger, it will be murder. Rosanna asks him if he wants the kids to walk in on this. Jack lowers the gun and walks out.

Henry returns to the hospital. "Hey Bubbles," he says to Katie. She doesn't want to talk to him, but asks him why all of this happened. Katie doesn't know how he can expect anyone to give him another chance after how weak and selfish he's been. Vienna is lucky she got rid of him before he got her killed too. She storms off.

Barbara finds Henry at the bar and takes his hand.

Katie goes home. The apartment is still decorated for the baby shower. She runs into the bedroom and holds Brad's shirt. She gets in bed and weeps.

Holden corners Lucinda in her office and accuses her of arranging for him to spend time alone with Lily. She thinks he's being pigheaded and tells him that Lily needs him. "She has Damian," he points out. Lucinda insists that Damian took advantage of her while she was in a haze. He says that things aren't that simple, but she thinks it's time for forgiveness and urges him to go to her daughter. "Everything will be alright," she says.

Damian surprises Lily when he shows up at the cabin and confronts her. He tells her that Holden isn't coming and it's because he told him that she was there. She's shocked. Damian points out that she had to manipulate Holden to simply get him to talk to her. Why would she want a man who would let her go so easily when there's a man who really wants her? She claims that Holden is just hurting because of what she's done. "If he wanted you, he'd be here," he says. He proclaims that he loves her and she loves him too. As he begins kissing her, Holden arrives outside. When he looks in the window, he sees them together.
