Vienna wants Henry to leave the Stenbeck fortune alone, James wants Paul to take the Stenbeck name, Alison and Casey are driven further apart over Bob, and Bob collapses!
At the hospital, Alison wants nothing to do with Casey. Casey assures her that he is on her side and he defended her to his dad. Alison is relieved that he defended her. Casey asserts she cares too much to hurt a patient. As they kiss, Riley looks on through the window. Casey admits that it is hard for him to accept that Bob might be losing it, but Alison doesn't want to be put in the middle again. After Casey abruptly takes off, Riley approaches Alison and asks her to take off with him.
Tom and Margo are happy to see Bob and Kim out and about. Tom asks why he suddenly reinstated Alison. A shocked Kim can't believe Bob gave Alison her job back! Bob tells them he knows how to run his hospital, but Tom thinks Alison is incompetent. An angry Casey interrupts and orders them to stop ganging up on Alison. An upset Kim leaves to freshen up. Casey asks Bob if something is wrong with him! Tom is angry with Casey for accusing Bob, and Margo quips that the Stewart women always turn men against their family. Kim returns and feels woozy. Bob wants to take her to the hospital and they leave. Tom asks Casey if he is proud of himself and Margo orders him to get his priorities straight!
Audrey and Henry visit James at the police station. Audrey promises they will do whatever they can to help him. James hands Henry a piece of paper with instructions to give his attorney.
Emily finds a distracted Paul. Paul believes James wants something from him. Emily thinks he should simply ask him. Paul doesn't want to play more crazy games, but Emily thinks James still has power over him.
Henry and Audrey meet with James's lawyer. The lawyer informs them that Henry will be inheriting the Stenbeck fortune! Audrey is overjoyed at the millions Henry will get, but he thinks it is blood money that he can't share with Vienna. Vienna interrupts them and asks what comes first, her or the money! Henry tells Vienna he is crazy about her, but she promises him that his sweet talk won't work because James will want something in return for the money. Vienna demands that he choose between her or the money! Audrey steps in and tells Vienna she is denying Henry his livelihood. Vienna cries that the money will change Henry like it changed Paul. Henry promises he will not become James Jr. or Paul the II. Audrey pipes up that Henry can give her the money! Henry yells at Audrey that she has been working him all along. Vienna cries that he sounds just like James. Henry admits that he wants the money! Vienna yells that the money can keep him warm at night because she will not and angrily leaves!
Emily escorts Paul to the police station to see James. James tells Paul he has been expecting him! Paul yells that he has never been a father to him and he will never stop hating him. James tells Paul everything he did was out of love to mold him into a man worthy of the Stenbeck fortune and he believes he has succeeded! James claims he loves Paul and the money is his for the taking. Paul sadly admits he simply wants to raise his child better than he raised him. James wants Paul to take back his Stenbeck name! Paul tells James he will deny his request till his last breath.
Riley and Alison discuss Bob's situation at Java. Alison is upset that Casey is torn between her and his family. Riley wonders why she can talk to him about Bob, but not Casey. He takes her hand as Casey arrives to see the close moment. Casey demands to know what is going on! Alison asks Casey to calm down. Casey informs them about his confrontation with Bob and Kim and Kim returning to the hospital. Alison thinks the situation is her fault and thinks Casey should stay away from her. Casey thinks Alison and Riley are in their own little world. Alison apologizes and runs away. Riley yells that Casey isn't taking care of Alison's needs. Casey demands to know the truth, but Riley tells him Alison wants to be with Casey and he is blowing it!
Bob sits by Kim's bed at the hospital. He admits he called in another doctor because he is too close to the case. She calmly asks him what is really going on. Bob doesn't want to take any chances and loves her too much to take chances. Another doctor arrives to start a series of tests. Bob leaves to get her ice cream.
Tom and Margo visit Kim at the hospital. She informs them that Bob removed himself from her case. She then tells them she asked him to get her ice cream twenty minutes ago and he hasn't returned.
A disoriented Bob wanders through Old Town with melted ice cream! Alison passes by and hands him tissues for his melted ice cream. Bob vacantly stares at her and then collapses on the ground!
Henry follows Vienna and tells her she is priceless and means more to him than money. He cries that he chooses her over anything! Vienna embraces him, as Audrey interrupts and tells them she will make sure that the money will not come between the lovebirds.
James meets with his attorney and asks him to remove Henry's name from his will and put Paul's back in! James says, "If Paul thinks he will be rid of me, he's wrong!"
Paul returns home and tells Emily he will only be free from James when he is dead. He tells Emily he is happiest when he is with her and asks her to move back in with him. As they kiss, he hears James's laugh inside his head!
