Brad and Henry get their jobs back, Damien kisses Meg and Lily confronts Holden about siding with Lucinda.
At her place, Katie complains to Henry that all he has been doing lately is sleeping. She relays news that her appointment went well and the baby is fine. She needs him to get out of this funk and once she starts eating ice cream, Henry pleads for some, causing her to offer him some if he gets off the sofa! Later, they sit on the sofa together and eat, while Henry moans about how he betrayed Vienna. Katie assures him that Vienna will return, but Henry is doubtful. Katie kicks him out, saying it’s not healthy to wallow in self pity. Brad arrives in a bad mood. He just got fired, because of Henry! Katie begs Henry to go to Kim to beg for their jobs back. Meg wonders if Vienna will return if Henry gets their jobs back, so Henry, filthy from lack of attention to his hygiene, gets off the sofa with Brad and goes off to talk to Kim.
Emily and Paul make out in Paul’s suite. Paul can’t believe that he forgot that they ever did this and jokes that for her, it’ll be like taking his virginity twice!
Meg yells to Damien that she doesn’t expect him to understand. Paul came forth, knowing it was the right thing to do and she wants him to know that means something to her but Damien doesn’t think it’ll make a difference to Paul right now. Perhaps it’s a push in the right direction, musses Meg, so Damien promises not to stop her.
Lucinda tells Holden they’ll level the playing field for Luke. He shouldn’t be in school and if he’s going to work, he should work for her, at World Wide, once she steps in as CEO.
Paul and Emily have sex and in the afterglow, Paul says he thinks he loves her, but that’s not what she wants to hear from him. Meg walks in on them, shocked. “We were just having sex,” he tells Meg, casually. Emily goes off to shower and Meg wants to discuss what happened in court, but doesn’t think now is the time! Noticing how upset she is, Paul makes it clear he wasn’t trying to hurt her. Meg knows this and agrees to stick around while he dresses. He leaves and Emily returns. Meg confronts Emily for being thrilled that she caught them together. Emily denies it. Paul came on to her! Meg thinks Emily is desperate and wonders if Paul knows she shot him once. Emily says he knows everything and found it a turn on! Paul returns and Emily gives Paul a lingering kiss before she leaves. Paul notices the annoyed look on Meg’s face. They discuss his amnesia and he figures she stuck by him through an awful lot. She agrees and liked the man she saw in court, which gave her a glimpse of the man she fell in love with once. Paul is glad. Maybe he can make up for some of the past. When Meg mentions surgery, Paul balks. After hearing about how horrible his past was, he has no intentions of getting surgery! He’s planning on starting over. Meg asks if he wants to remember Eliza, but he’d rather have none than remember kidnapping her. Meg asks if he feels anything for her. He feels sad, knowing he has hurt her. He doesn’t want her or need her, or know her but she’s nice. He wonders why he has to have anything to do with her. He gets out a checkbook and writes her a check for Eliza for child support and offers more where that came from, but Meg rips up the check. He’s right. He doesn’t know her at all.
In her office, Lily and Damien discuss Meg giving Paul another chance. Lily explains the bond they share because of their child and reminds Damien he knows this. Lily thinks people change, but Damien thinks this thing with Paul is a fluke. They’re interrupted by Lucinda and Holden, who ask Damien to put his ego aside and agree to rescind his offer and allow Luke to work for Lucinda. Lily thinks they should allow Luke to decide which job to take, but considering Lucinda, Holden and Damien refuse to change their minds, it’s up to Lily to make the decision. Lucinda wants to know why Damien wants to be a part of Luke’s life. Damien is surprised by her questioning and Lily tells her mother that’s enough! Holden wants them to show Luke a united front. They’re interrupted by Meg, looking for Damien. He thinks they’re done there and takes Meg away. Once they’re gone, Lily assumes Meg’s upset, likely because of Paul. Holden wants to help Meg and get her to stay away from Damien. Lily asks him to stop trying to run Damien out of everyone’s life.
When Henry and Brad arrive to the station, two of Henry’s fans storm in, happy to meet Henry. Kim tells the ladies it’s a closed set and they must leave. Henry and Brad beg for their jobs back, but Kim says that ship has sailed. Vienna alienated the audience when she outed Geneva, however, she will put Brad on the air if Henry agrees to be his co-host! Kim is hesitant but thinks he should be himself. Brad and Henry start bickering.
While Emily gets a drink downstairs, Paul nuzzles her neck, wanting to take her to bed. She refuses. She needs to look for a job, but he knows what she needs. To come back to bed! Emily gives in and they kiss.
Damien and Meg arrive at his place and she tells him the details of seeing Paul with Emily and how unfazed Paul was about it all. She’s angry with herself, saying Damien was right. She has hopes that Paul will be the man she once fell for, but notices how different he is. Damien’s surprised to hear Paul doesn’t want the surgery. "Then Paul Ryan is a damned fool," he tells Meg, as she breaks down. Damien thinks she deserves better and reminds her that out of respect for her, he’s not pushing for more than friendship. Meg’s grateful, but when Damien moves in for a kiss, Meg kisses him back, passionately. They fall to the sofa.
Henry arrives home to his suite and reads a note that came with a bouquet of flowers. "All is forgiven. Can’t wait to see you again." He happily calls Brad and tells him the good news and starts cleaning up his room. He dresses and rushes to the door. Once he has it open, he’s shocked to find his mother standing there - not Vienna!
Holden arrives home. He didn’t go after Meg. Lily apologizes for what she said but didn’t like how he aligned himself with her mother. Lily doesn’t like the manipulation and refuses to allow Holden to manipulate Luke the way Lucinda used to do with her. Holden simply wants to give Luke a second option, and asks whose side she’s taking. "Yours of course."
Back in Paul’s suite, Paul rubs Emily’s feet and she explains that she has two sons and is upset that she has lost her job. Paul offers her money but Emily is offended. She won’t sleep with him for money! He has more money than he knows what to do with and was just trying to help. Baffled, Emily reluctantly agrees to take it and Paul asks if she wants to have sex. She grins, but tells him not tonight!
Brad and Katie snuggle at home and discuss how they’ve much to do before the baby comes. Brad’s surprised at the price of a gorgeous crib Katie shows him, and Katie backs off but Brad promises to provide for them and asks her not to worry.
