Jessica pays her daughter and Dusty a visit, Henry tries a different plan and Paul tries to make things legal.

Dusty is packing up when Jessica shows up at his door. "Are you out of your mind?" she asks. "Is that a trick question?" he shoots back. She demands to know what his intentions towards her daughter are. She doesn't think he is ready to move on from his loss and warns him that Bonnie is in love with him. Bonnie arrives and is startled to see her mom is there. She lays into her mother for flying over there to confront her... whatever he is. After she orders her mom out, she arranges to meet Dusty later.

Henry sits on his bed. Vienna wakes up and tries to pull him under the covers but begins coughing. She slips off to get some water. He calls Barbara and leaves a message, begging to see her again. Vienna comes back out and Audrey begins banging on the door. Vienna hides in the bathroom. Audrey barges in and tells her son that Ralph has blood in his eyes. They bicker about what body part the mobster will take first and he asks her to distract Vienna. She comes out of the bathroom and Audrey offers to take her to the hospital.

Paul meets with a lawyer to go over some paperwork about the adoption. Ralph walks over and asks to speak to him privately. After the lawyer steps aside, Ralph reminds Paul about their little talk. He walks away again and Paul tells his lawyer they need to work fast. He gets up and bumps into his mother. She asks him to talk about the inheritance. Paul tells her he's having adoption problems.

Teri drops by the diner to see her sister. Janet tells her that they are already re-opening and everything will be okay. Teri's sure that Ralph must have had the place repaired so quickly. Ralph comes in and hands an envelope full of cash to some workmen. He glares across the room at Dusty and then hurries out. Janet walks over to Dusty and he suggests that she ask her Uncle Ralph who started the fire. Teri asks him what his problem is. They begin trading barbs and Dusty tells Janet that her sister might be okay, but Ralph is a snake. Janet and Teri sit down and she tries to convince her sister to talk Liberty into accepting her adoption idea. Teri's reluctant to 'do her dirty work'. Janet bellows at her and orders her out.

At Metro, Bonnie tells her mother that she doesn't need rescuing and says she's out of control. Jessica doesn't thinks that she should let this get any deeper when she doesn't know how Dusty really feels. Bonnie insists that she is just having a little fun and tells her not to worry. Jessica is sure that he is still grieving for Jennifer. Bonnie thinks there is genuinely something between her and Dusty, but her mother urges her to confront him about where the relationship is going. Bonnie doesn't want to force him into defining their relationship. Dusty pops up and asks Jessica what she wants to know. He admits that he has no plans beyond their trip; they're just having a good time. Jessica asks her daughter if that's enough and rants about how Dusty could ruin her life. Bonnie asks her mom to stop treating her like a kid. "Well, I had to try," Jessica says. She gives her a hug and tells her not to cry her eyes out over him. After she leaves, Dusty tells her he's impressed by her mother. Before they can leave, she admits that her mom got into her head. She asks him about their future. He says it's open and admits that he doesn't want anything more than something casual. "I need more," she confesses. "Good luck," he says. She walks away as Teri walks in. "At least I know it's not just me. You're a jerk to everybody," she says. He tells her he loved his wife and watched her die; that made him understand the risk of caring.

Henry goes to see Paul and asks him to go 'tailgating' with him. He's not interested. Henry drops the charade and says that he needs all of the money right now. Henry asks him to convince his mother to back off. Paul doesn't have the energy to do that, but he writes him a check.

Ralph goes to see Paul and explains that Janet is adopting the baby but he'll give them a gift for the trouble. Paul's not impressed and tells him that Liberty picked them to adopt her child. "This is our child. Nothing is going to change that," Paul insists. "I'm going to change that," Ralph threatens. Paul offers to settle this in court but Ralph insists this is a family matter.

Audrey runs into Barbara at the hospital. She's there to see her oncologist. Audrey begins probing about her cancer and Barbara admits that the anxiety over these tests has made her act reckless with a younger man. Audrey thinks she should be celebrating this and having fun with her 'young stud'. After she tells her that she and Vienna will be stuck there all day, Barbara hurries away. Vienna walks out from her checkup, eager to go. Audrey encourages her to get more tests done and pushes her off to find a doctor. She immediately calls her son and tells him that Barbara is on her way to the hotel. He tells her he has another plan – he's gambling. Vienna comes back and asks Audrey to get her a soda. As soon as her back is turned, Vienna runs off.

Henry gambles in a hotel room. He's caught trying to cheat. "That could get you killed," one of the gamblers tells him. Ralph arrives and orders them off before they can attack him. "Didn't I warn you about letting me down?" Ralph says.

Barbara goes looking for Henry. When there's no answer at his door, she breaks into his room. A few moments later, Vienna walks in and catches Barbara sitting in her bed.

Paul goes to Janet's to see Liberty. She refuses to let him in. He tells her that sending Ralph to threaten him isn't a good idea. He hands her some paperwork for Liberty to sign and a check for her expenses. Janet rips them up.

Next on As The World Turns:

Ralph tells Henry that he pulls out all the stops to protect his family.

Barbara tells Vienna that she and Henry are lovers.

Henry walks in on Barbara and Vienna fighting.

This Henry and Barbara fling is just to much to take in at one time. Henry is going to loose the love of his life. Nutty story line. Peaceful evening to all.

I can't stand "Uncle Ralphie". I never have liked mobster characters and he is especially painful to endure. They've tried to put him in with everyone and every storyline. Enough! I hope they're building up to killing him off really soon.

I agree with you ps..The Henry we know would never jeopardize losing Vienna.....What is it gonna take for Janet and Ralph to back off!! Janet need to listen to what everyone is saying about Liberty and the fact she is not respecting her daughter..This is about Janet wanting a baby and Jack told her he wasn't ready for more kids..Then she gets mad at her sister because she won't be her lap dog?? I can't stand that character and her stupid uncle

I'm just wondering two things: Ever since Carly convinced Craig to share custody of Johnny with Dusty, we never see them together..Did he forget about Johnny all of a sudden? And how come they keep using the excuse Dusty isn't over Jennifer? He had no Jenn issues when he wanted Meg or Josie, who looks just like Jennifer, so why is the excuse for Bonnie this crap about Jennifer?

Frenchy68:I agree with you about Uncle Ralphie! Can't stand the old geiser! Sounds like Dusty is on to him and will probably take him down. I'm sick of Janet too! Jack doesn't want to raise another kid and Libs doesn't want her to have it either. Why can't she let Libs make her own decision on this. And throwing Teri out because she doesn't agree with her, pleezzz! The Henry/Barbara storyline is just sick. Eww!

Not much else to say; seems most of you have covered the bases. I hope they (ATWT) clear up some of these bad story lines before bringing back more of the veteran actors. Jessica is back and I understanding a few more are returning.
GOOD FOR ATWT! We need some of the good old blood back.

I totally enjoyed today's show and tomorrow when Vienna and Barbara go to blows that should be real funny.

Also, I think Barbara was trying to tell us something today when she said she was waiting to hear from the doctor but was probably cancer free. I want to believe that she is also cancer free in real life. I pray that I am right.
