Holden helps Maeve, Lily slaps Meg and Henry sleeps with Barbara.
Holden shows up at the police station to see Maeve. She throws her arms around him. He asks her where the money is. She refuses to tell anyone where it is. When a cop comes in, he admits that they won't let Maeve go until they find the money. Holden tells the cop that Maeve is as much of a victim as he is and she saved his life. "You're holding an innocent woman on charges that won't stick," he says. The cops allow her to leave. She hugs Holden and thanks him. He asks her to forget about the money and move on. She wonders why he came back after being reunited with his family. "My timing was off," he says, explaining that his wife already got re-married. He tells her to take care of herself. "Be happy," she says. He leaves.
Damian is drinking at the bar when Lisa shows up to see him. She asks him why he isn't in his honeymoon suite. He explains what happened. She advises him not to fight a losing battle. "Some things are worth fighting for," he says.
Lily sits on the floor of her bedroom and wonders where Holden went. She tries calling the farm but there is no answer. When she goes downstairs, Meg barges in, searching for her brother. They launch into an argument and Lily tells her how much she wanted to tell Holden that she wanted him. "It must be tough trying to decide which husband to share your bed with tonight," Meg taunts before telling her that Holden must have made the decision for her and walked out. Lily slaps her and then apologizes. Meg continues taunting her, suggesting that she doesn't even love Holden. Lily orders her out. As Meg leaves, Damian shows up at the door. She doesn't waste time telling him that Lily hit her and then walks out. Damian assures Lily that Holden will come back when he's ready and worries that she's losing control. He tells her that she did nothing wrong; she just fell in love with a man who has always loved her. Holden walks in. He nearly walks by them but Lily stops them. He walks into the bedroom and she chases after him. Holden packs, complaining that things are too 'crowded'. When she brings up the kids, he becomes angry and refuses to let her use them as an excuse. As he heads for the door, Damian offers him his hand. Holden punches him into the floor and storms out. Lily runs out, jumps over Damian, and stares out the door. She turns back to Damian and tells him to go. He bids her goodnight.
At the diner, Vienna is complaining to Katie about Audrey's influence on Henry's life. Katie finds it hard to imagine he is really giving his money to charity. Vienna claims that love has changed him.
At the farm house, Meg drops her glass when the door blows open. Maeve walks in. She explains that she is an old friend of Holden's and asks where there's a hotel she can stay for the night. She holds the money in a bag in her hands.
Holden bumps into Lisa at the Lakeview and he tells her he needs a room.
Audrey shows up at Henry's and tells him that Barbara has filed an injunction to stop the payments from James' estate. He offers to take care of it. When he reaches for his phone, flowers arrive... for him. They contain a threatening rhyme from Ralph. As he rushes the flowers out the door, he bumps into Barbara and asks her if he can change her mind. She takes the flowers out of his arms. "It will take more than a simple bouquet to get Barbara Ryan to change her mind," she says. He wonders what would be enough. She flirtatiously asks him to think about it and walks off. Audrey sticks her head out and orders her son to follow Barbara while she reeks of desperation.
Henry goes downstairs to see Ralph and tells him that he's not sure about the next payment. He might need more time... Ralph explains how things work in 'the circle of life' and the bad things that happen when it breaks down. Henry explains his problem with Barbara but Ralph refuses to change any aspect of their agreement. He tells him to go home to his girlfriend and her 'pretty face'. When Henry walks away, his mother calls and he tells her that Ralph threatened Vienna.
Barbara runs into Lisa who probes her for details about why she is wearing a new red outfit. She guesses it's about a man. Barbara says it's complicated but it's been a long time since a man looked at her. Lisa tells her to enjoy herself. Henry calls and asks Barbara to see him in her suite. "I'll be waiting," she says.
Henry runs into his mother in the corridor. She tells him that he better get Barbara to lift the injunction or they'll all be dead. He has to do whatever it takes. He groans and gets in the elevator. As he goes up, Katie rushes in. She's desperate to talk to him. Audrey tells her that he's having an important meeting right now. As soon as Katie is gone from sight, Audrey calls her son and repeats what the threat is. Katie overhears.
Barbara lets Henry into her room. "You sound just like your father," she says. When she kisses him, he pulls away. She knows this is all about the money but doesn't care. As she tears off his clothes, Katie stands in the doorway, listens and gasps. After the sex, Barbara tells Henry they have some more 'sticking points to work out'.
Ralph lights a cigar. Audrey is surprised to see him relaxing. "Everything is as it should be," he says.
Vienna goes to the diner to work. She calls and leaves Henry a message while smoke starts to fill the room. When Katie arrives, she finds Vienna on the floor.
