Larry gets a big surprise from Susan, Carly drinks and disappears again, and Janet has just about had it!
Emily gets the landlord to let her into Hunter’s room with his key. He leaves and she searches the room. The covers suddenly move, Hunter emerges and tells her to go away. She feels his forehead and wonders if he's sick. She reminds him that she’s his mother but he doesn’t want anything to do with her and shouts at her to leave.
Alison arrives at Larry’s door. He asks her what’s wrong. She accuses him of fathering a child and keeping it a secret. He tells her he loves her. She says that all he does is use people. She says she’ll never forgive him. Larry tells her about Aurora and that she told him to stay away from her and the baby. Alison tells him that he's a liar. He says he wasn’t entirely selfish. He hopes it’s not too late to make things right with her and Hunter. She tells him that Hunter freaked and left. He says they have to look for him. He reminds her that they are connected to Hunter and that his mother is dead.
Carly wakes up in the hospital with Craig by her bedside. He tells her that her stomach has been pumped to avoid alcohol poisoning. He promises that things will be better. She promises it will never happen again. He says he will get her the help she needs and promises to be there for her. Carly asks him to help her go home.
At the farm, Jack and Janet are glad that Sage is away at camp. Janet says that Parker phoned to tell her that Carly is okay. She suggests Parker come visit and hang out with Liberty. She thinks this could be good for both of them. Jack opens the door to Rosanna who comes into the kitchen. She asks for their help with Carly. She wants Jack to go to the hospital with her to be sure that Carly goes into rehab. Janet is steaming, Rosanna leaves and they argue about Jack going to help Carly. He says he needs Janet to be there for him as a loving wife. They kiss and he leaves.
Rosanna and Jack arrive at the hospital with flowers. She tells them she just let herself get overwhelmed and that it won’t happen again. Rosanna accuses her of being an alcoholic and says she needs help to stop drinking. Jack says Rosanna asked him to come along so that she would get treatment. Craig agrees that she needs it. She angrily accuses them of trying to run her life. Rosanna says they are there because they love her and want her to get better. Carly asks if the kids are okay. They all shout at each other. The doctor enters and asks Rosanna, Jack and Craig to wait outside the room. While they are together, they discuss rehab facilities. Jack says Carly must get better for the sake of the children. They all agree to be together on this. Rosanna and Jack leave while Craig looks through the window in Carly’s room.
Emily and Hunter continue to argue in Hunter’s room. She asks if she can buy him a sandwich. He agrees and she leaves while he gets dressed. Outside his door, she calls Alison on her cell phone. Emily tells her that Hunter is safe and that they are going out for a bite to eat. She begs Alison to join them at the Lakeview. Alison agrees to meet them and leaves. Larry asks her to explain what’s going on and when she tells him he says he should be there too.
Emily and Hunter join Susan at the Lakeview. She tells Susan that her eggs were stolen and that Hunter is her son and Susan’s grandson. Susan is shocked. Alison and Larry suddenly join them and Emily is angry that Larry is there. Emily tells all of them that Larry is Hunter’s father.
Craig tells Carly that she has been released from the hospital but that they are all worried about her. She tells him not to treat her like everybody else. He says he doesn’t believe she can do it on her own. She cries that she doesn’t want to be separated from him and begs him not to send her away.
Carly and Craig arrive at their cabin and he lights a romantic fire. Carly is hungry and looks into the cupboards for food. She spies a liquor bottle. Craig suggests they go out for pasta but she tells him to go on his own. Carly struggles, then gets the bottle open and drinks from it.
At Carly’s place, Rosanna and Jack wait for Carly and wonder where she is.
Craig calls Janet at the farm. She asks him why they aren’t on the way to rehab. He tells her that he has taken Carly away and will make sure she doesn’t drink. He tells Janet to tell the rest of them about what he's doing. He says Carly is in good hands and is going to be fine. Janet is angry, hangs up, grabs her purse, and walks out.
Susan quizzes Emily about the pregnancy. She can’t believe the story but they all agree that it’s great to have Hunter in the family. Hunter says he wants no part of it and storms out. Alison follows him and they discuss adapting to change. She reminds him that he has family now. He says he wasn’t looking for family. She says that she needs a brother and that she’ll always be there for him.
At the Lakeview, Larry pays for the drinks and goes to leave but before he does he asks, “Don’t I deserve something?” Susan stands up and knees him in the groin. He goes down screaming.
Janet arrives at Carly’s place and tells Jack and Rosanna that Craig took Carly away. Jack yells at Janet and she leaves. Jack chases after her.
Alison and Hunter return to Susan and Emily at their table at the Lakeview. Emily tells him that they’re all so glad that he is here.
At the farm, Jack apologizes to Janet for taking out his frustration on her. Janet reminds him that Carly will always be demanding of him. He promises it won’t be like this much longer. She says she didn’t sign up for this and that she can’t take it any longer.
At home, Rosanna tries Carly’s cell phone but she doesn’t answer.
Craig returns to the cabin, but can't find Carly anywhere.
