Henry nearly ruins things for Vienna and Katie, Brian returns to Oakdale, Luke makes a decision about his future and Lily takes a new job!
Vienna takes her temperature in the suite and smiles.
At home Brad and Katie try to distract themselves by playing cards but all they can think about is Vienna and baby making. Brad kisses her but Katie pushes him away and brings up lunch. Just then Vienna calls to report that she is ovulating! Katie is thrilled and they all head for the hospital. Katie worries that something will go wrong – like Vienna wanting to keep the baby. Brad says there is nothing to worry about.
In the bar Henry imagines helping Katie deliver Vienna's baby – who is identical to Brad! Vienna touches his shoulder, bringing him back to the present and drags him to the hospital for the insemination.
Luke and Noah are outside the police department after giving their statements about Mark and Elwood. Luke feels bad that Kevin is stuck in the middle but Noah says Luke did the right thing, even though it implicated Kevin.
At home Lily takes a message for Lucinda and Luke about a foundation meeting. Lucinda doesn't recall a meeting so Lily calls Luke but he doesn't answer his phone. She leaves a message and then tells Lucinda she might be on her own at the meeting. Lucinda says she can't do that – because she is too ill to leave the house! She tells Lily to go but Lily doesn't feel comfortable with that. Luke arrives and refuses to attend, saying he needs a break. Frustrated Lily decides to attend the meeting. When they are alone Lucinda tells Luke he is a spoiled brat. They exchange barbs and finally Luke admits that he doesn't feel up to the task of the foundation because of all of things that have happened in the past few months. Lucinda says helping people isn't naïve; Luke says he started the foundation to stick it to Damian and that was the wrong thing to do.
At the hospital Katie hugs Vienna and then goes to find the doctor with Brad. Henry tries one more time to change Vienna's mind but she is certain this is the right thing to do. She asks if he really wants her to do this. He keeps his doubts to himself after seeing how excited Katie and Brad are. The doctor gives Brad donation instructions and sends him into a room alone. Katie thanks Henry again and then Brad sticks his head into the hall and says there is a problem! Henry tries to help but Brad gets defensive; he realizes Brad is having trouble making his donation and teases him a little. Katie gets upset so Henry leaves; she tells Brad to relax and focus and finally agrees to come into the room with him to get him in the mood.
Henry goes to Vienna's room. The doctor comes in with Brad's donation; Brad and Katie follow. Henry freaks a little and makes Brad stand in the corner while Vienna is inseminated. She stops the doctor and asks Henry to inject her. Henry accidentally knocks over the vials, destroying everything! The doctors tell Brad to make another donation.
In the other room Katie admits that she has doubts about not carrying their baby. Brad reassures her and they kiss.
Vienna wonders if Henry did this on purpose and he says he didn't but admits he is upset that she is doing this at all. "I'm jealous – of the baby," he says, worried that Vienna won't have time for him once she is pregnant. He says nothing can ever change the way she feels about him. Brad and Henry leave. Katie holds Vienna's hand. After the insemination Katie and Brad come in with cupcakes and balloons. Vienna calls the bun in her oven – even though she might not be pregnant yet – Sven or Olga. "Um, you can't pick the baby's name," Brad says hesitantly. Vienna doesn't understand why she can't! She says she needs something to call the baby while it is still inside her and Katie backs her up. Henry is ready to go and doesn't like it when Katie and Brad fawn all over Vienna, leaving him to hold balloons.
Lily calls Noah and they meet at the foundation offices. She asks for his help in reaching Luke but Noah doesn't know what to do. Just then Brian walks in the door! Lily explains that Lucinda and Luke weren't available but she was and they start the meeting. Noah calls Luke and he hurries over! The board member wants a more linear purpose to the foundation but Luke refuses. Brian backs him up and the backer walks out! Luke is thrilled. Lily invites Brian to the house.
Lily, Luke and Noah return to the house to see Lucinda. She is shocked when Brian walks in, too. Luke tells her how Brian helped them at the meeting and she sits down to talk with him. As they talk Brian suggests they get a businessperson to head the foundation; Lily says she might be the perfect fit! She says she'll only do it if Luke stays involved, too. He agrees. Noah leaves to study and Luke follows. Brian thinks this is a good idea but warns Lily that it won't be easy. He offers to help whenever she needs; she leaves. He asks if she's taking her vitamins and she says she is; he holds her hand and she gets a little weepy. He says he is only trying to make amends and then tells her about his new job in Minnesota. Lucinda is happy he came by. Brian brings up his sexuality and then asks if they can be friends. "I'd like that," Lucinda says, surprising him.
In Old Town Luke and Noah are both excited about the meeting. Noah tells Luke that he is becoming the old Luke again; Luke is excited about going back to the foundation. "You are still the man you were when we first met," Noah says as Luke plays with his hair. They kiss and go back to Noah's.
Katie escorts Vienna back to the suite while Brad and Henry bring up the rear. They make Vienna comfortable. She is certain she is already pregnant and convinces Katie to feel her belly. Brad comes over to feel it, too, and both of them say they feel something! This does not thrill Henry but he finally joins the party on the bed. Brad prays that the baby will be healthy, smart and happy.
