Meg runs from James, Paul's visions unsettle him, Carly helps Jack with a sketch, Janet asks Brad for a place to stay, Katie tells Brad to grow up and Bonnie convinces Henry not to press charges.
James takes Meg inside the house and tells her she'll be safe. Meg laughs and James says she'll be well cared for. Meg is worried about Paul and James eventually admits that Paul isn't dead or in the hole. Meg believes he'll come for her but James tells her not to hang her hopes on Paul. He points out that if the baby is raised by him it will have the best of everything. He turns away and Meg runs for the door! Meg runs to the beach, screaming for help. She has a pain and drops down beside a rock. James is there and says there is no one around for miles to save her! He helps her breathe deeply and says she has to stop running or the baby could be harmed. Meg tells him to let her go but he won't. He takes her back to the house and says they have to get along; Meg says they can't be friends. James locks her inside the room and leaves. When he is gone, Meg tries to open a window but can't. She cries. She tries to pick the lock on the doors and finally manages to unlock one of them! Meg sneaks out of the room and finds a room with cages! She sees Dusty in one of the cells!
At Fairwinds, Barbara tries to calm Paul down but can't. She tries to get him to take a sleeping pill but he won't. Eventually, though, he falls asleep on the couch. He has a vision of Meg on a beach somewhere; her image leads him to a home on the beach but he trips climbing the steps. Paul wakes up. Babs returns and asks what he is doing; Paul tells her about the vision.
Jack stops by Carly's to update her. She brings up Janet's visit and tells Jack not to ruin things this time. She says Janet is a good woman and he would be lucky to have her. He falls asleep on the sofa. Paul calls and tells him about the vision. Jack asks Carly if he can use her shower and goes upstairs. Jack asks Carly to come along so she can help with a sketch. She agrees.
Jack and Carly arrive at Fairwinds. Jack warns Paul that a sketch isn't the remedy for their lack of information. Paul describes the house and Carly sketches it. She finishes and Paul realizes her sketch is a perfect replica. Jack says it's just a house and won't help them narrow the search. Barbara suggests that Paul try to call his vision back. Paul focuses in on the sign with the swans and realizes Meg is on an island. He describes that to Jack who says it's a little bit more. They leave. Paul starts searching on the Internet for clues to Meg's location. Barbara angrily tells him to let Jack do the police work and Paul orders her to leave! He falls asleep and dreams that he finds Meg - dead! He wakes and convinces himself it was only a dream.
Brad wakes up but Katie isn't there. He finds her on the couch. She says she was having trouble sleeping and asks for coffee. He says there isn't any. Janet arrives and says she needs a place to stay! Katie is annoyed and so is Brad; he tells her that Jack will get over this. That only makes Katie more annoyed. She tells Brad that everyone isn't as flippant about things as he is - and says Janet can stay in their room with her and he can take the couch!
At the police station, Derek finishes his statement. Dallas says there isn't a lot to go on. Derek tells Bonnie to help him stay out of jail.
Vienna goes to the hospital to take Henry home. They walk back to The Lakeview and run into Bonnie - who asks them to help keep Derek out of jail! Vienna refuses but Bonnie tells them Derek was just a pawn; Henry agrees with her. Vienna says they'll help on one condition - that Bonnie admit her true feelings! Bonnie says, "Fine, I burn for Derek," and Vienna leads them away.
Bonnie, Vienna and Henry return to the police department to give their statements to Dallas. They all agree not to press charges against Derek. Henry and Vienna leave. Dallas asks why Bonnie coerced them into giving fake statements. Bonnie says she has everything under control and leaves. Jack and Carly arrive to show Dallas the sketch. Jack believes Meg is on Swan Island off the coast of Maine. Dallas agrees to call in some favors to see if anyone in Maine recognizes the property. Carly turns to leave and Jack offers to take her. Carly says, "G-man, be careful out there."
Katie and Brad go to WOAK and as they interview an author about making amends, begin to disagree on when asking for favors is going too far. They start arguing about Jack's decision to steal the evidence and quit his job without mentioning any names. The floor director motions that they are out of time and Katie storms off the set. They go into the office and Katie tells Brad he has to stop acting like his actions don't have consequences. "You did this for yourself as much as you did it for us," she says! Brad angrily asks what she wants. She says she wants him to fix the situation without ruining other people's lives.
Katie returns home but is still upset. Janet says she'll find a hotel but Katie tells her not to. Janet says she feels responsible because she pushed Jack into the evidence scheme. They agree that they shouldn't have asked him to help with the plan. Janet says Jack needs to be honest with himself about Carly; Katie says Jack and Carly will never be completely over one another. Brad walks in the door and Janet makes a quick exit. He says Katie was right and he is going to try harder to make the situation right. He asks for her advice. Katie says she can't tell him what to do because this has to be his decision. Brad doesn't understand. Katie tells him to stop saying what he thinks she wants him to say and do something that he wants to do!
