Derek goes to Barbara, James convinces Paul to lean on him, Brad saves Leo's life, Janet realizes Jack has very high standards, Carly follows Brad around and Katie turns to Jack for help.
At the reservoir, Brad realizes Leo may be in trouble and jumps in the water. He dives again and again and finally surfaces with Leo in his arms. "Don't you die on me," Brad exclaims when Leo doesn't come to. He makes an anonymous call to the rescue squad. He begins CPR and then hides when the sirens get close. Brad watches as the workers try to save Leo.
At the house, Katie asks Janet where Brad could be. She doesn't know. Katie hangs up. Liberty wonders if this is her fault, too. Janet tells her that no one is to blame but Leo.
Jack and Carly try to make Parker feel better but he can't believe that his own family thought he was a rapist. He goes upstairs. Jack is about to leave when Janet arrives with a fruit basket. She apologizes to them both. Carly goes to the kitchen and Jack goes off on Janet about her disbelief of Parker. Janet apologizes again but says all she knew was that Liberty was attacked and Parker was there. She asks if they can talk at the farm but Jack says he is staying at Carly's for the night. Janet sadly leaves. Carly returns and tells Jack he is being judgmental! She tells him to stop keeping such high standards for everyone and consider how other people would feel. She asks what he would have done if Sage was in the same position. Dallas calls, interrupting them. He says they've found Leo - in the reservoir! A while later, Parker comes into the kitchen, still worried that he'll be arrested. Carly tries to encourage him but he can't forget about how things were after Sam was killed. She promises to call Jack so they can all talk. Liberty calls and apologizes for placing the blame on him inadvertently. Parker asks if she ever thought he hurt her; she says she never did. "Apology accepted," he says and they hang up.
Jack gets to the hospital but Dallas says the kid is in a coma!
Back at Brad's, Liberty asks Janet to sing to her for a while. Brad returns home, soaked to the skin. Janet tries to figure out where he has been but he won't say. Katie arrives home and is relieved to see him. Jack arrives, says Leo is in a coma and asks where Brad has been! Brad says he has been for a walk but won't say more. Jack leaves and so does Janet. Katie asks why Brad is lying! She says the production assistant told her that he went after Leo and won't stop pushing until Brad finally admits he was at the reservoir! He says he was just trying to scare Leo by pushing him in the reservoir but when he didn't come up for air, he jumped in and saved his life. Katie can't believe it. Brad swears he didn't mean to hurt anyone. She says he has to talk to Jack. Brad refuses but Katie convinces him to go forward. She swears she will stand by him but he won't listen. Brad leaves, even when she begs him to stay with her. "I love you," she says and he walks out.
Jack calls Dallas, who says whoever made the call may also have saved Leo's life because he had had CPR before the trauma workers arrived.
Janet is packing her things in Emma's kitchen when Jack arrives. She says she is moving out! He asks her to reconsider and says he wants them to work out their differences. Janet sadly says she can't take the disappointment she sees in him. He says he understands why she stood up for Libs and that he would have done the same for Parker. Janet says his standards are too high for her. "I can't live up to it," she says and goes back upstairs. Katie arrives and desperately tells him what happened between Brad and Leo. She begs him to help Brad come forward. Jack can't believe what she is asking. "Please," she begs as Janet comes back downstairs. She says she figured out what Brad did and says he should keep quiet! She tells Jack to forget everything Katie says and begs him not to let Brad go to jail. Jack insists he is going to do his job!
Carly arrives at the hospital to talk to Dallas. He says Parker is in the clear now that Libs has fingered Leo. She asks about the boy. Dallas realizes as they talk that Leo had a lot of enemies - including Brad! Carly leaves as Brad arrives. She spots him and follows him back to Leo's room. She listens as Brad says, "I'm sorry." He leaves and she wonders what happened.
In her limo, Barbara gives the driver instructions but he ignores her. It is Derek! He says he has a message for Paul and tells her she has to make sure Paul understands just how deadly serious he is about getting his money back! She calls Paul, who immediately worries. Babs says she is fine - for now! - but that he has to get the money immediately. James listens as Paul asks to talk to Derek. He tells Derek to let Barbara go and he'll have the money by the night.
At Fairwinds, Paul tries to get rid of James but he refuses to leave the mansion. Paul walks out. Barbara arrives in a while and is startled to see James there! She tells him to get out; he tells her to keep it down or she'll disturb Meg. He says he needs her help - on Paul's behalf! James offers her a toast but she won't drink with him. He insinuates that he took her money so that Paul could only turn to him!
Paul goes to Lucinda and offers to sell her Worldwide! Lucinda laughs and says, "How stupid do you think I am?" Paul asks for a loan. Lucinda asks what is really going on.
Paul returns to Fairwinds and tells James to stay away from Barbara. James offers to help and Paul won't listen when Barbara tells him to stay far, far away from James. James gives Paul a map and says it will lead to the money. Paul grabs the map and realizes it is a map of the Snyder farm and the money is below the construction site! Paul realizes James has been behind the contamination, too! "I'd start digging," James says!
