A Plan For Seduction!

Tuesday, May 13 2008
Carly decides to help Lily with Holden. Jack discovers Carly's plans. Casey rescues Emily in New York.

Emily is going over a presentation for potential advertisers in New York. She can't get Casey off her mind. She is changing for the presentation when Casey walks in! She is thrown off-balance until Casey starts talking about the presentation. Em finishes dressing and leaves. On the plane, she can't stop thinking about Casey. Back at the office, Casey goes to Emily's desk and realizes she has left the presentation behind! He tries calling her but she doesn't answer. He grabs the next flight to New York! At the presentation, Emily finally realizes she doesn't have her presentation. She tries to stall but just then Casey arrives and saves the day. Everything goes well. Emily and Casey wander through the city, window shopping and playing around. They take a hansom cab ride and Casey points out a few special areas of Central Park. Finally, they arrive at a café but can't get reservations. Casey pretends that Emily is a celebrity and they are shown immediately to a table. After lunch, Emily takes Casey to look at the skyline. He can't take his eyes of her, though. Emily is about to kiss him when she pulls back, reminding herself that they have a plane to catch. Casey grabs her and kisses her!

Lily arrives at Carly's with the girls and Ethan in tow. Carly is having second-thoughts about their plans for Holden's seduction. She points out all the times she didn't listen to Lily's advice to take things slowly with Jack; Lily says this is different so Carly gives in. Jack arrives and asks what is going on. Parker, JJ and Sage go into the back yard to play with Faith and Natalie. Jack is sufficiently distracted and Lily says Carly is just helping her by taking care of the kids so she can have dinner with Lucinda. Jack asks about Holden but Lily says she hasn't been able to reach him. Jack starts to leave, too, but Carly stops him. She says she can't handle all the kids and dinner alone. Jack is pleased that she's asking for his help and agrees to stay. A while later, Jack says they should get the girls and Ethan ready to go but Carly stalls him, saying it would be nice if the kids could stay. Jack says she'll have to clear it with Lily first. Carly is about to call when the timer in the kitchen goes off, distracting her.

Holden arrives at the farm and is surprised to find that no one else is around. He calls Lucinda and leaves a message. Just then Lily arrives. She says she left the kids with Carly so she could have dinner with Lucinda but Lucinda just cancelled. Holden offers to go get the kids but Lily says it would break the girls' hearts. She asks about the rest of the farm residents but they are all out for the night. "I guess it's just the two of us, then," she says! Holden offers to cook but Lily says she has something special in mind. A while later Lily has a candlelit dinner ready to go. Holden isn't thrilled with her plans to serve sushi and says he doesn't want to try more new things. He realizes he has hurt her feelings and gives in. They laugh as they try the new dish. Holden spills some of the food on his shirt and Lily offers to clean up the mess. He is about to kiss her when he realizes how late it is and leaves to pick up the girls. Lily can't believe Carly didn't call. She tells Carly she has to convince Holden to leave the kids there for the night.

Holden arrives at Carly's but nixes the spend-the-night plan. He points out that getting six kids ready in the morning will be very hard. Jack joins in, saying they will be fine for the night. Holden doesn't understand why Carly is so adamant that the kids stay. Jack goes to check on the kiddos. Carly tells Holden he deserves a night of kid-free adulthood. He gives in and leaves. Jack returns and asks Carly if she is really ready for five kids and an early morning school call. She says he'll see just how things go - because he is staying, too! Jack can't believe it and asks why she volunteered to keep all the kids if she didn't think she could handle it. She pretends to be ready to call Holden to come pick up the kids but Jack stops her and agrees to stay the night - on the couch. Later, Nat comes in, scared because Parker and JJ are telling them bear-stories. Jack goes outside to straighten things out.

Holden returns to the farm to find Lily dressed in lingerie. Holden can't stop thinking about Jack being at Carly's and wonders what is really going on. Lily thinks the drama with Jack and Carly is why Holden is pushing her away. He says it has nothing to do with Jack and Carly, but that he isn't ready to jump back into marriage with her. He thinks they need to deal with their problems first. Desperate, Lily says they will never have a perfect life but that is okay with her, because she just wants him. Holden kisses her! They make love. After, Lily calls Carly and thanks her. She hangs up as Holden comes downstairs. She says she was just checking on the kids. He kisses her again and sets her up on the counter. They are about to make love when Lily says she doesn't want anyone to walk in on them. Holden takes her upstairs.

When Carly hangs up, she realizes Jack just overheard the conversation with Lily! Jack asks what she was trying to accomplish and angrily says spending the night alone with Lily should have been Holden's choice. Carly defends her actions, saying she was just trying to help a friend. Carly asks why he is really upset. Jack says he doesn't like being used. She apologizes and tells him to be mad at her but not to take the night away from Holden and Lily. He agrees to stay the night - for the kids' sake!

This storyline with Carly & Jack and Lily & Holden is getting really old. What are the writers thinking putting Casey and Emily together? She is old enough to be his mother. She has also had an affair with his dad, has a son that's his brother and a daughter(Allison)that is older than he is.

Honestly if they pair up Emily and Casey I will vomit. The writers have done some pretty far out things but this will take the cake. Emily is old enough to be his mother +.

I agree with you msamob about Emily and Casey. I thought it was bad enough when Emily slept with Chris after having an affair and a child with his brother Tom. I can't understand why the writers would want to put Casey with Emily. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! I have lost what little respect I had for Casey. How could he sleep with someone his Dad fathered a child, his brother; and how could Emily sleep with her son's brother? Casey should be as a "son/stepson" to her. Today convinced me that Emily is lower than low. She needs to be run out of town. I am not for a summer romance between Emily and Casey. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

GLandWT - Emily and Casey

SICK SICK SICK

so if Casey and Emily hook up that'll be a true "Redneck" storyline. "You might be a redneck if your dating your brother's momma!"
"You might be a redneck if you are your brother's step daddy"

why is everyone susprise by emily? she also ha sex with paul when he ,was about casey age.

This is the problem when characters go away and come back years later as a different actor, especially when different writers are on staff. Nothing stays in the same context. It's frustrating. Emily had an affair with Paul when he was a teenager, as I recall, but that was never mentioned when they hooked up again a couple years ago. I hate the lack of continuity with characters, but I guess it happens on all soaps. By the way, the new Lily seems alot younger, and the whole personality of the character has changed. The old Lily (and I don't just mean the actor, I mean the character) wouldn't have been so brazen about having sex with Holden.
