Craig isn't out of the country after all! Meg tells Paul to get lost. Carly and Jack recreate the night of Sam's shooting. Bob and Kim talk about changing their lives.

Carly is asleep on the couch, having a nightmare about the near-rape. She wakes and believes she knows what happened when Sam was shot! She goes to the police station and tells Jack that she remembered more from that night and that Parker only fired one shot - the shot that hit Sam in the shoulder. Carly takes Jack to Metro and tells him they need to reenact the events of that night. Jack can't believe what she wants to do but agrees to go along with it. Carly begins talking about what happened. She tells Jack that Sam pinned her to the sofa and places Jack in that same position. Jack can't take it and jumps off the sofa! He says he doesn't blame Parker because he would have done the same thing. She says he wouldn't have pulled the trigger and begs him to finish the reenactment. Jack gets on top of her on the sofa and Carly sees Parker take one shot and then run from the bar. Jack says it doesn't matter what she thinks she remembers because no court will believe her. Kit walks in, whining about not having money and burying Sam on her own, and demands that Carly buy her out of Metro immediately! Carly says she doesn't have the money; Kit says they should sell the club quickly so she can get away from the bad memories. Jack asks why she is in such a hurry. She says she needs a fresh start and turns to go. Jack asks about the funeral and Kit emotionally tells them that it was a hard thing to get through alone. She leaves. Carly asks Jack what she is supposed to do. Jack is suspicious of Kit's motives. He points out Cowboy Jack, telling Carly that it doesn't make sense that she didn't want Sam's most prized possession. Carly remembers her conversation with Kit about Sam's wandering eye and tells Jack. He believes Kit could have shot Sam! Back at the police station Jack goes over the medical reports and learns that Parker's shot to the shoulder didn't kill Sam - the second shot did! He pulls out a file and tells Carly they need to pinpoint Kit's whereabouts the night of the shooting. He sets a few things in motion and says if nothing else works, they'll put Cowboy Jack to the test!
Holden returns to the kitchen and sees Meg with the rose. She says she has to find Craig, ignore him and do the same with Paul. Holden insists that they take the rose to the police. Meg follows him outside and begs him to stop but Holden leaves anyway.

Craig surprises Paul at Worldwide. He asks if Lucinda knew about Paul's plan and then makes a comment about Meg. Paul warns Craig to stay away from Meg but Craig says he could never hurt the woman he loves. He leaves and goes to the police department where he asks Margo to have Lucinda arrested! He tells her about the conspiracy between Evan and Lucinda; Margo asks for proof but Craig has none. Just then Holden walks in and demands that Margo arrest Craig! Holden tells Margo that Craig is stalking Meg by sending her flowers; Margo tells Holden that sending flowers isn't a crime. But, she tells Craig to stop bugging his nearly-ex-wife. Holden slams out of the building. Margo asks what Craig is trying to pull. He turns back to the Lucinda subject and tells Margo to get the Keystone Cops of Oakdale to pull Lucinda's phone records. Margo refuses. Craig leaves, telling her that he will take things into his own hands! "I'm going to do what I need to do. Have a good life," he says and leaves!

Paul meets Lucinda at The Lakeview and warns her that Craig is working on some kind of revenge. Lucinda says Craig can't prove anything as long as they all stick with their stories. Paul is very worried, though, especially for Meg and leaves the hotel. He goes to the farm and makes Meg open the door. She tells Paul that she has nothing to fear from Craig; Paul says Meg may get hurt because Craig is coming after him! Paul sees the rose and becomes more upset when she refuses to let him protect her. "What did you do this time to incite Craig?" she asks. Paul tells her about his plot with Lucinda and Emily; Meg tells him to stop creating problems for her because it isn't going to help him win her back! "We are over," she hollers as Craig walks in the door! He tells Meg that he just came by to give her a flower. He hands over another rose with a note about surprises and then tells her good-bye. "I know when I'm not wanted. Have an amazing life - without him," Craig says and walks out of the kitchen. Paul tries again to get Meg to look to him for protection but she refuses. She tells him to be careful and then asks him to go. Holden returns home to tell Meg he managed to get the restraining order. She tells him about Craig's visit and says she is worried about him. Holden offers to get a restraining order against Paul, too!

Bob and Kim meet at The Lakeview for lunch. They run into Lucinda, who tells Bob how great he is looking now. He talks about work and Lucinda nearly breaks down. Bob asks what is wrong and she says she just can't forget how great the Hughes family has been to her. She wishes she could be the same help to them. Bob brings up Chris, wondering how he will react to not being the Chief any longer; Kim hopes he will stay on at the hospital. Lucinda leaves; Bob and Kim sit down to eat. She becomes emotional thinking about Bob going back to work and both of them getting busy with stuff again. She says she wants to change their lives for the better this time. He promises to take better care of himself but Kim wants more than a promise. She asks him to take advantage of Chris's responsibilities and make him a kind of co-chief. Bob isn't sure Chris would want that and isn't sure he will even stay in Oakdale.

Margo finds Lucinda at the hospital and asks once more about her connection to Evan. Lucinda reminds Margo of her past connections with the Walsh family and swears that she had no contact with Evan until he took her hostage. Lucinda asks why Craig is sticking his nose into police business; Margo admits that Craig has raised some questions but insists that she is only conducting official police business. Lucinda tells her to keep investigating and Margo leaves. A few minutes later Lucinda runs into Craig and asks how he knows about her connections to Evan Walsh IV! He admits he didn't know anything until just that second. He asks if Lily knows about Lucinda's connection and is happy that the news has caused a rift between the women. Craig makes a few veiled threats about upcoming deaths and wishes her well. Then says he is going to the airport and leaving town for good.
