Craig knows about Meg's deception and decides to torture her a bit. Paul tries to move heaven and earth to find Meg. Carly and Parker talk things out. Jack and Katie make plans for a romantic night together. Luke has romantic blues.
Luke and Noah carry a few boxes in, making a mess on the Oakdale Now set as they do so. Maddie comes over, offering to help but Luke tells her to stay behind, that he can handle the clean up. Noah and Maddie leave to catch a movie. Jade arrives looking for her necklace. She realizes that Luke is preoccupied and asks what's wrong. Luke tells her he's fallen for the wrong guy - again! He can't believe that, once again, he managed to fall for a straight guy. Jade sympathizes with him and Luke realizes that he has the answers to his problems already. He sits down at a computer and begins to type.
In Old Town Maddie and Noah run into Elwood, who is excited to see her. Maddie blows him off, not wanting to relive the old Casey memories. Noah asks about it and Maddie tells him that Casey is in prison. They talk about Casey, with Maddie very worried about him. "If he thinks about me half as much as I think about him," she says, worried about him. Maddie apologizes for dumping her problems on Noah, who tells her not to apologize for loving someone. Nervous around him for the first time, Maddie leaves. They arrive back at WOAK to find Luke hard at work on a new summer proposal. Maddie and Noah jump at the chance to read it. They both love the proposal and are excited to get to work on a search for love show. Luke is a bit embarrassed because the show is about his own search for love.
Jack, Carly and Parker arrive at Carly's apartment. Parker is quiet for a moment, unsure what to do next. He hesitates before going upstairs, asking again if he will have to go to camp. Jack promises that he doesn't. Carly tells Parker how happy she is to have him there. Jack tells Parker they need to get going back to the farm but Parker doesn't want to go. He asks if he can stay with Carly tonight and Jack says it's okay. He offers to bring some of Parker's things to Carly's, but reminds her that Parker isn't the same boy she remembers. He tells her to watch the boy carefully. "I promise I will not mess this up," Carly says. Jack leaves. Parker returns downstairs and they talk. Carly tells him not to be too upset with JJ, but Parker is mad anyway. Carly puts on a CD from Parker's baby days before heading for the kitchen. He listens for a minute and then leaves the house! Carly freaks for a second when she doesn't see him inside. She finds him on the porch and sits with him for a minute. "I'm so, so sorry," he says. Upset because he didn't give Carly a chance when she came back and upset because of all the problems he caused, Parker wonders if his family can ever forgive him. Emotional, Carly tells Parker that her leaving and his actions since she came back aren't his fault - it all belongs on her shoulders! "I am not going to leave you again. Ever," she promises and takes Parker in her arms.
Katie calls Jack and leaves a message inviting him to join her at the bar. She hangs up. Kim calls a moment later with a job offer! Just as Katie is leaving Jack arrives. She asks about Parker and learns the boy is staying with Carly for the night. Jack tells her he is on the way to the farm to grab some of Parker's things and Katie tells him not to stay with her in favor of the kids. "I don’t want to be another obligation to you," she says. Jack assures her that she isn't an obligation and they realize that part of their misunderstandings tonight are because of Brad! Jack asks Katie to spend the night with him and the entire next day. Katie turns him down - because she is leaving town! She tells him about the job - convincing a celebrity into being a guest on the show. Katie would rather stay with Jack but he encourages her to go. They kiss and Jack tells her that she has nothing to worry about while she's gone - because she is the only woman for him! Katie points Jack to the door to finish things up with Parker. Jack takes her hand, asking her to come with him!
Jack arrives at Carly's to find her curled up on the couch with Parker. The boy hugs her and then Jack and heads up to bed. Jack can't believe Parker hugged him! "That is the last thing I expected," Jack says. Carly tells him about their night, making Jack apologize. He tells Carly that she is a great mom and promises to work things out with the kids. He tells her that the kids need her. Just then Katie walks in. She has a few things that Jack left behind, but apologizes for interrupting. Carly thanks her for helping today. Jack and Katie leave.
At The Lakeview, Paul tries again to call Meg but she still isn't answering her phone. Lucinda tells him to back off and get out of the bar before Craig and Meg arrive. A porter comes over, telling them that Craig just called - and they aren't coming to the reception! Paul and Lucinda demand answers but the messenger doesn't have any idea where Craig may have gone. Lucinda sends him off to pass on the news. "Craig has abducted her and he's going to punish her," Paul says and storms away. Lucinda follows. Back at the hall, Paul wonders where Meg could be. He takes the medal from his pocket and sees falling rocks! Lucinda finds him there and tells him to calm down and not act rash. A pilot, Bill, arrives at Lucinda's request. She asks him about Craig's whereabouts. Bill tells them that he can't turn over flight plans. Lucinda offers him anything to get the information! Bill opens up and tells them the plane was originally en route to Seattle but changed flight plans and they don't know where it landed. Lucinda turns to Paul but he is already gone! In his car, Paul offers triple the normal rate for a flight believing he knows where Craig has taken Meg!
Craig takes Meg to a romantic getaway. She asks why they didn't go to the reception, telling him they shouldn't have ditched everyone. He tells her they will forgive and forget. Meg reminds him about the papers, annoying Craig. The manager arrives and asks Craig to follow her to fill out all the papers. He leaves. Once she is alone, Meg tries using her cell but there isn't a signal! She wanders the room until she gets a signal but Craig returns before she can complete the call! Craig takes her phone, telling her that her "mother" won't worry because he left word at The Lakeview that they wouldn't be coming. But he tells her that no one knows where they are except the pilot. Meg is a bit nervous at that news but tries to cover. Craig tells Meg to trust him, the way he trusted her with his money and with his heart. He puts down the phone and leads her out onto the balcony. They watch the view for a while, Craig pretending to be completely mesmerized by the view. When Meg stays by the door, Craig asks her to step up next to him. Standing at the edge of the balcony Meg sees the dangerous ground all around them. "One step and you're in freefall," Craig says, nuzzling her neck. Meg turns to go inside but Craig won't let her go. He puts his arms around her saying he will never let her go! She twists away, blaming her vertigo, and going inside. Craig follows reminding her that he would never hurt her. He offers a surprise but Meg isn't sure she can handle anything more. Craig insists. Before he can do anything, Meg asks for a little time alone. "I feel like a mess," she says. Craig hands her a box of lingerie and she asks if they can save making love for later. "Do I mind?" he asks, annoyed. "What do you think?" Meg leaves to change. When she returns Craig offers to sleep with her, with no strings. Meg agrees and they climb into bed. She apologizes for being stressed and tired. Craig pretends not to care.
