Adam attacks Gwen, Tom begs Margo not to report Casey as a fugitive, and Jade locks Will and Casey in the store.
Tom arrives at the station to report that Casey didn't come home, and Margo notifies him that he went back to the dorms.
Later, at Al's, Tom is stressed out about Casey going back to the dorms. During their conversation, Elwood arrives announcing that he's getting a new roommate and needs Casey to move his stuff out. Margo's surprised and questions Elwood about when he saw Casey last. Elwood tells them he hasn't seen him in two days. Tom asks Elwood to let them know if he hears from Casey. He promises he will.
At their home, Margo calls around about Casey; she thinks he's turned to gambling again. When she hangs up the phone, she reports to Tom that he's not used his credit card, and Tom says he checked his computer and discovered that he hasn't used it either. After investigating, they determine that Casey must not be gambling again.
Moments later, Barbara arrives advising them to check out Maddie's story. She goes on to say she ran into Iris, and Iris is certain that Maddie, Gwen and Will have run off. "I just wonder what kind of trouble Maddie has gotten them into this time," she adds.
After Barbara leaves, Tom and Margo sit on the couch and try to figure out why Maddie would run off. Margo lets Tom know that Dallas told her Maddie went to the morgue. Tom wonders if Casey followed Maddie, and Will, Gwen and Maddie are keeping it a secret because they know he skipped bail. Margo blames herself for the whole situation, but Tom takes her into his arms and lets her know it's not her fault. Realizing Casey jumped bail, Margo insists on reporting him as a fugitive, but Tom begs her to hold off. She agrees to wait 24 hours.
At the cabin, Casey and Will decide to leave to get new passports for the four of them. While they're gone, Maddie and Gwen hear a noise outside! Gwen slowly walks to the door to investigate and Maddie follows. When they look out, they see nothing so they go back inside to start cleaning.
Maddie heads out to get wood while Gwen drags an old bed frame out that they found and starts cleaning it up. While Maddie's getting wood, an unseen figure knocks her out with a huge branch!
Meanwhile, Gwen's inside cleaning up the bed frame when she hears someone come in. She thinks it's Maddie and asks her to give her a hand, but when she turns she sees Adam and lets out a blood-curdling scream! He lets her know that he knocked Maddie out and she runs for the door. He stops her and wraps his hand around her neck! With his hand still around her neck, he leads her to a chair. She asks what he wants. "I want to see the look on Will's face when he comes back and finds us together," he replies. She pleads for him to let her check on Maddie, but he refuses then reveals that he was the one behind the haunting. A hysterical Gwen tries to explain their actions, but Adam grows angrier by the minute and tells her he can't let her get away with what she and Maddie done to him. She cries uncontrollably and voices that she didn't know he was alive, but if she had of… He cuts her short and moves in for a kiss. She punches him in the stomach and runs out the door!
Once outside, she finds Maddie and discovers that she's bleeding! As she tries to help her friend, Adam grabs her from behind and drags her back inside! He tells her he wants her but she rejects him. He doesn't take no for an answer and forces himself on her! Gwen kicks and screams. Jade enters and attempts to pull Adam off Gwen; he knocks her to the floor and starts to rape Gwen. Meanwhile, outside, Maddie starts to come to.
Outside the shops, Iris spots a coat she likes and approaches the woman to compliment her apparel. Upon her approach, she discovers the woman is Barbara. Iris flaunts her new wares in front of Barbara, and Barbara asks about Gwen and Will, but the only think Iris reveals is that Will and Gwen left in a hurry. Before Iris leaves, she compliments Barbara's shoes and assumes she bought them in Paris. Soon after, she shocks Barbara with the news that she's going to Paris and then leaves.
At the store, Casey and Will discover they don't have enough money for fake passports. They ask the sheriff if he would be willing to give them back part of their rent money, and they'll work it off. He says he can't because he's already given it to his wife and she spent it. They brainstorm what to do then notice a flyer looking for day laborers. They ask the sheriff about it and he gives them directions to the job site.
Later, Casey and Will return to report to the sheriff that the Mill is closed. He's in a hurry to check out a report of a stolen car, which he says doesn't often happen there. They ask to use the phone and he tells them to lock the door when they leave.
After the sheriff leaves, they decide to head back to their hideout. As they turn around, they're shocked to see Jade ogling at them through the window! They wonder what she's doing there and head for the door to find. Once they get to the door, they realize they're locked in! Jade smiles, waves to them and then leaves. Casey and Will decide to use the phone to call 911, but discover it's dead.
