Henry meets with Carly at Java to help Simon. Craig threatens Emily. Jade offers Lily a solution for her weight.
At Lily and Holden's, Lily tells Faith since she has the day off from school she thought they would do something together. Faith asks why. She says it's been a long time since the two of them done anything together, so she thought why not. Faith doesn't seem too excited about the idea. Lily notices and says it would be great to get out of the house. She goes on to say it would be Faith and Mom's adventure. Faith grabs her magazine from underneath Lily then gets up. Lily asks if she flattened it. Faith says no. She continues to try and encourage Faith to spend some time together. She suggest they get all dressed up and go have some tea, finger sandwiches and raspberry cake. "Why would you want to do that? I thought you were on a diet," Faith replies as Lily's smile disappears. Faith says she'd rather hang out at home, because she hates shopping. Lily says she doesn't, but Faith says she does. The doorbell rings. It's Tea. While going through pictures with Tea, Lily gets down about the ways she looks. She expresses that she needs to lose a little bit of weight. Tea suggests she take some classes, but Lily says she's too busy. Faith asks if she can take some classes. Lily asks Faith about her riding lessons, but she says she told her she's not into horses anymore. Turning to Tea, she asks when she can start. Tea says she can start today.
Jade enters the room, and an excited Faith tells Jade all about her dance lessons. Jade expresses how happy she is for her. Soon after, Tea and Faith leave for Faith's first dance lesson.
At Lakeview, Katie notices Henry. He says he wishes he could stay, but he can't. She pulls him over saying sure he can, and she offers to buy coffee while they figure out how she can find Simon. He asks what she has against the police. She says she just spoke with them on the phone and their hopeless. "Besides, no one knows how Simon thinks better than you and me, right?" she asks. He replies that he can't, because he says he can't watch her go down this path again. When she asks what path, he says just because Simon is behind bars don't mean Mike is going to run back to her. "I can't watch you break your heart again, Sweetie" he finishes. She says forget the coffee, she's getting him a martini. He refuses, saying it's too early for that. She feels of his head to see if something's wrong, because he never turns down a martini. He tells her to get her hands off him. He goes on to say he can't drink because he has to drive. Surprised, she asks him if he's show furring again. He confirms, saying he has to get upstairs to dust off the old uniform. She asks who his passenger is. He says she's just a reference from an old customer. She questions him about where he's taking her, but he says he needs to go, because Coleman's back on the road again. "God help us all," she replies. "Bubbles, you have no idea," he laughs.
Carly opens the door to get the morning paper. On the front cover she reads, "Suspected Jewel Thief Evades Capture." Once inside, she begins reading the piece, but stops when she notices Parker coming downstairs. She asks him to take out the trash for her. As he's taking out the trash, he notices a cop sitting in an unmarked car at the end of the driveway. Once back inside, he asks her if she knows there's a cop sitting outside, and then he asks her why they're begin watched. Before answering, she goes outside to discover that there is indeed a police car outside.
Going back inside, she begins to explain Simon being in trouble to Parker, but the phone rings. She answers to find Henry on the other end. She yells at him for what he done calling him a lousy friend and a creep. He says he's on her side, and he's trying to help her, but she hangs up on him telling him not to call her again. When Parker asks who was on the phone, she says just someone she use to do business with. He asks if she thinks Simon will show up. She says he's gone for a very long time. Henry calls back asking for a chance to explain, but she says she's hanging up. Before she can hang up, he mentions Meme (the vase that got broke at the apartment). Capturing her attention, she asks how he knew about that. He says he knows when it broke she was devastated. He goes on to say he stumbled across another vase he thought she would be interested, but he can't deliver it in person. He asks if she'll meet him at Java. He says he'll bring her a brochure so she can use it to get in contact with the manufacturer. She says she'd like that very much, because the place isn't the same without it. She asks again if he wants her to meet him at Java. He confirms, saying as quickly as possible, because it's a much sought after item and he'd hate for her to miss out. She agrees to meet with him.
After hanging up the phone, Henry informs Simon that it worked this time; she didn't hang up. Before he heads to Java to meet her, Simon asks if he has the phones. Henry confirms, handing him the phones saying he won't have to worry about rollover charges or wire-tapping.
Craig informs Dusty that they lost. Dusty asks what his point is. He says that night in the garage everything came to a head and looking back at it, it was almost inevitable, and the people that were there know what happened. He goes on to say they don't need a judge and jury to place the blame. Therefore, he says the truth is that night and what lead up to it can't be undone, and they all have to move on. He says that why he decided to let the matter go. Dusty asks Jessica if she's willing to go along with this. She says willing to respect Mr. Montgomery's wishes in this case. Craig says he would think so since he's the one who took the bullet to the chest, and he says this is how he wishes to resolve it. Jessica continues by saying her office will issue a statement today saying that the charges of attempted murder against Dusty have been dropped. She goes on to say that as a result, the state won't be charging Craig as an accessory. "Well, look at that! All be da***! That's what I call a win, win," Craig smirks. As Emily, Meg and Dusty stand in shock by the news, Craig says, "Well don't everyone thank me at once," Dusty asks to speak with Jessica. Taking her outside, he asks what the catch is. She says there isn't a catch, but he says there's always a catch with Montgomery. She says he doesn't have to thank him or anything, but she advises that if he's willing to let it go then he should too.
Once Jessica leaves, Dusty informs Craig that this changes nothing between them. He says he didn't think it would, that's why he did it. Dusty says he doesn't care why he did it, because when he walks out that door the first thing he's going to do is track down Lucy and his son. He goes on to say when he finds them, they'll disappear to some place where he'll never find them.
Once the officer pulls Dusty away to get started on his release papers, Craig tells Emily he's impressed. She tells him to go away. He says now that he knows she's on Dusty's side he feels sorry for him. She says the feelings mutual. He goes on to say, in front of Meg, that he has a very, very long memory, and he won't forget what happened. She asks if that's a threat. "Simple... statement... fact," he replies, with Meg standing behind her. "Can I quote you in the Intruder?" she asks. "Put it above the fault," he answers, then walks away.
Lily is down about Faith not wanting to spend time with her. Jade says she may not be her daughter, but offers Lily the chance to spend time with her niece. Lily accepts saying they'll go have dinner.
Later, Lily thanks Jade for spending time with her. Jade says it was nothing. She goes on to say Faith is lucky to have her as a mom. She says she just wishes she wanted to spend more time with her. Jade suggests she give her more time. The conversation leads to Lily complaining about her weight again. She tells Jade she's been trying hard. Jade says she thinks she looks great, but if she really feels she needs to lose weight she has something she believes would help her. She hands Lily some diet pills. She says she's not sure about this because she's not a fan of taking pills. She reminds her that she took prenatal vitamins. She says that’s different. Jade says it worked for her, so Lily pops the first pill into her mouth.
At Java, Carly sits down at the bar and orders coffee. As she sits down, she waves to the officer that escorted her there. Once the officer leaves, Henry approaches her and pretends to stumble as he drops a brochure. She offers to pick it up, but he says he'll get it. Secretly, he hands her the brochures, and underneath it is a phone. She thanks him for finding the vase for her. He says it sorda found him. "Funny how that happens," she replies. He says he's glad he could help. She says she is too, because the piece has sentimental value. He says he's sorry it broke--something so rare--but he hopes she can fix it. Before she leaves, she thanks him again. On her way out, the officer joins her again. Meanwhile, Katie is following Henry!
Back at the station, Dusty thanks Emily for her help. He says he owes her. She says she owes him, and still has a lot to make up for. She goes on to say she knows she hasn't given him reason to trust her, but if he ever needs anything all he has to do is ask. He says there is something she can do for him. She asks him what he needs her to do. He says he needs her to be careful, because he heard what Craig say to her. She says she barely paid attention. Again, he says she needs to be careful, then add that she of all people should know that. She says she does, and if he has something planned, she'll be ready. Changing the subject, she asks him what his plans are now. He says he's probably going to pack up and head to Montagia. She asks if he's going to see Sierra. He says he'll probably pay her a visit, because he believes she may know where Lucy and Johnny are. He goes on to say he has to get his son back. She says she hopes he finds them, because Johnny needs his father. Before he goes, she tells him to take care of himself, because he and Craig still want the same thing. "Yeah, but look who I have in my corner," he says. She smiles. "I'll see ya," Dusty says on his way out.
Craig joins Meg at Lakeview. She asks why he risked everything to do what he did. She reminds him that he could have gone to jail. He says he did it for her. She has a hard time believing him. He asks where his reward is. Like you said dusty free and clear, he'll lead me right to Lucy and Johnny. She starts to leave, but he asks her to wait. He says the things she said to him last night made him think. He goes on to say he took a hard long look at his life, and he's ready to make changes--to be a better man. "Let me prove it to you," he offers.
Back at Java, Katie confronts Henry telling him she followed him. She says she wants to know what the he** he just said to Carly. When he starts to answer, she tells him not to even think about lying to her, because she knows what he said to her. She says there's only one thing he could have said to get her to run out of there like she did. "You know where Simon is," she finishes.
Once back home, Carly waits for the phone Henry gave her to ring. While waiting she says to herself, "Henry, if this is a trap I will squeeeeze your neck until your eyes pop out of your skull." At that moment, the phone rings.
"Hello."
"Carly?"
"Simon. Simon, are you okay?"
"Much better now that I hear your voice. I miss you."
"Me too. Oh, Simon, I'm so glad that you're alright. I wasn't sure if I'd ever hear your voice again."
"Nah, impossible." Taking a deep breath, he continues, "Man, I'm crazy without you."
"Me too."
"Carly, I need to say this. I almost told you last night, but, um, I didn't and I wish I did."
"You're sorry about this? I know. So am I."
"No, it's not that, but look--although I am. Sorry, of course, more than you'll ever know, but… and I hate doing this over the phone I just… I just need you to know that no matter what I love you."
"I love you too. You know that."
After a moment of silence, Carly says, "Simon?"
"Yeah, uh, wait Carly, there's more; I just don't know how I can bring myself to say it."
