Gwen suggests Iris stay with Will. Jade is jealous because Adam didn't invite her to LA. Lucinda catches Lucy trying to kidnap Johnny!
At the studio, Jade is jealous because Adam didn't invite her to LA. She tries to change his mind, but he says because she and Gwen can't get along she can't go. Moments later Casey arrives; Adam asks to talk with him alone. He asks him if he's still gambling. When he says no, Adam wants to know where he's getting all his money. He replies that he cashed in some bonds. Adam believes him, but wants to make certain he's through with online gambling. Casey confirms, then tells him to back off.

Iris tells Gwen Candice had a heart attack last night and died. She says the parole board won't let her attend the funeral. She goes on to say the last time she talked to her she said she loved her. "No one else will ever say that to me again," Iris continues. Gwen says that's not true. She tells Gwen she's going to the closet bar down the street. Gwen stops her saying she just needs to talk with someone. She says she has nothing--nobody. Gwen reminds her that she has friends at AA, but Iris says their not really friends. Gwen continues to try to talk her mom out of drinking again. Iris informs her that Will helped her out by giving her money. She wants to know how much, but her mom says she wasn't supposed to tell her about it, and now if he finds out he'll take the money back! Gwen's surprised that Will didn't tell her about the money. Iris says she'll just leave, because she's said too much. Gwen asks her to wait; she says she may be able to help her.
Later, at Will's, Gwen suggests Iris stay there. She's happy, but wonders if she'll be able to convince Will to let her stay. About that time, Will arrives wanting to know what they're talking about. Gwen explains then apologizes saying she should have talked to him first, so if he doesn't want Iris around she'll understand. He's hesitant about letting her stay. Gwen notifies him that she was close to relapsing. Reluctantly, Will gives in saying she can stay. Iris thanks him saying maybe they can make a mends, but Will says that's not going to happen, because once Gwen returns from LA she's gone.
Before Gwen leaves, her mom tells her she knows she's going to make a big "splash" in LA. Gwen says while they're away she doesn't want her doing stupid things like playing loud music or inviting a bunch of people over. She says she'll treat her home with complete and total respect. Will says he'll hold her to that. She laughs telling him to go ahead and do that. She says she's just going to sit there and pray for her sister's departed soul.
After Gwen and Will leave, Iris turns the stereo on then begins snooping! She finds an envelope for Will that says "Oakdale National Trust." She says one look won't her. Upon looking, her mouth drops open!
Later, Adam approaches Jade and thanks her for waiting. He says when they get back he promises he'll make it up to her. He says she'll like it. She wants to know what he has in store for her when he returns. He says a getaway. She loves the idea and thanks him with a kiss!
While the two are kissing, Gwen walks in on them again. Adam jumps up and asks if she's ready. Once she confirms, they leave.
Later, Will returns home to find Iris been snooping around. "Get out now!" he orders.
Margo arrives at Craig's. She asks what Johnny's doing there. He says an overnight visit. When she asks him if Johnny will go back to Barbara's, he reveals that he obtained full custody and Lucy is moving in with them!
At the jail, Lucy says, "You really wouldn't try to kill my father again." He replies that Craig has his son, and he's going to find him and finish what he started. He admits killing Craig is the only way!
On Lucy's way out, she bumps into Margo. She asks Margo not to tell her father she was there. After Margo says she won't tell Craig, Lucy asks her if--when she saw her father--did she get the feeling that Craig would do anything to hold onto Johnny. Margo confirms. Lucy says Dusty would do just as much if he were free. Margo feels sorry for Johnny, saying he's going to end up spending his life in a constant tug of war between two people who love him but hate each other. Lucy agrees saying if there was only something they could do. An officer interrupts, informing Margo that she has a phone call.
Later, Emily comes by the jail to see Dusty, but he doesn't want to see her. When he asks her to leave, she asks him to hear her out. He says every word out of her mouth is a lie! She says there's and explanation, and because of it she may be able to help him and Johnny. She offers to testify at the custody hearing about Craig's role in the shooting. He says, "Who cares I'm the one who shot him." She replies that her testimony may not help in his case, but it could help the judge decide who gets custody of Johnny. She goes on to say she'll give Craig a "character assassination" that will "flip the judge on his ear."
"Denying Craig custody is only half the battle. I want to be with my son," Dusty says.
"Well then, you shouldn't have confessed to the police Dusty. You should of… I don't know, pleaded insanity or something."
"Well, you never thought you'd be here and here you are, walking free."
"Yea, because Jennifer made a death bed wish for you to forgive me, and you did, and you came forward and spoke on my behalf. Do you think Montgomery's going to do that for you, huh? You think he's going to do something so selfless?"
"I wasn't thinking about Montgomery."
"Well then who, who do you thinks going to help you?" Emily inquires.
Lucy returns to Craig's place. He asks where she went. She says she went by her grandmother's to get some things. She goes on to say she misjudged him, and it was the biggest mistake of her life. He smiles, then gives her a hug. While hugging her, he hollers out in pain. She asks to look at his wound. While looking, she informs him that he's developing a bad infection and must return to the hospital right away! He says he'll be okay, but she insists he go, warning that if he puts it off the infection could spread quickly. She offers to stay with Johnny while his driver takes him to the hospital. He says they should just bundle Johnny up and go together. "No!" she answers quickly, confusing Craig. He wonders if Bob will make a house call. She says he needs to be at the hospital to have scans, IVs and etc. Finally, he agrees to go.
After Craig leaves, she opens up the safe and takes the money that's inside. She grabs Johnny telling him they have a long way to go before they can sleep, but before she can get out the door Lucinda walks in and asks her what's going on --where she's taking Johnny. She says she can't discuss it right now. However, when Lucinda continues to question her, she says she's taking Johnny back to Barbara. "You're lying," Lucinda says. Lucy says she doesn't have time to explain, she has to go. On her way out, she bumps into Lucinda, her purse falls to the floor, and the wad of money slips out into view.
"Oh my God Darling, you're running away. You're kidnapping Johnny," Lucinda says, after seeing the money.
"Yes, I am," Lucy says nodding her head.
Outside the stores, Maddie talks to Casey about Henry's Christmas present. She says she thinks she'll get him an electronic game he can play poker on so he'll rush of gambling without the risk. He replies that for guys like Henry the risk is a rush. Soon after, Elwood shows up. Maddie excuses herself to do some Christmas shopping for Henry.
After Maddie leaves, Elwood says since the finals are over they can do some online gambling tonight. Casey refuses, but Elwood doesn't get it. Casey asks him to back off, but later apologizes saying he hasn't been spending enough time with Maddie. Elwood understands and suggests maybe she join them in a game, but he says that would be a bad idea.
When Maddie comes back, she asks if they're planning on some kind of game. Elwood confirms saying they're going to go back to the room, but Casey interrupts saying they're going to the bowling alley. He replies that the game he was talking about was… Casey interrupts again saying checkers and video games sounds like a "non stratum." He goes on to say he and Maddie have plans, but she says they don't. He suggests to Maddie that they go see a movie and eat a pizza. She says it sounds good, but she has two killer exams to study for.
After Maddie leaves, Casey jumps Elwood instructing him to never mention online gambling in front of Maddie again!
"What's the problem?" Elwood inquires.
"The problem is I don't want her to know."
Elwood apologizes suggesting they go back to the room and "ante-up" since he's free. Casey says he promised Adam he wouldn't gamble anymore, so he thinks he should lay off and quit while he's ahead. Elwood informs him that he's come up with a way to gamble where they'll never lose! Casey doesn't answer, but seems interested.
Craig arrives at the hospital to be checked out. After Dr. Bob takes a look at his wound, he says there's no sign of infection. In fact, it's healing nicely the doctor says.
