Meredith Hagner To Exit From As The World Turns.

Tuesday, November 24 2009

Meredith Hagner (CBS)
It has been officially confirmed that Daytime Emmy nominated actress Meredith Hagner (Liberty Ciccone) will be departing from the cast of As The World Turns in the near future. She is due to tape her final episode this December.

Hagner joined the series in April of 2008. Her character has had a consistently rocky time in Oakdale and often been tempted to run away, but what leads to her departure still isn't known. Outside of her work on the soap, she already has a role on the USA series, "Royal Pains" and recently completed two features. She will play Eva Leary in the TV movie "Lights Out" and has also filmed a part in the Drew Barrymore film, "Going The Distance." Both of those films will be released next year.

Soaps.com wishes Meredith all of the best in her future endeavors. If you'd like to find out more about the actress, check out Meredith Hagner's Actor Profile.

Meredith,
I wish you the very best of luck in all your future endeavors. I am thrilled that your future has already materialized and know that you will sail to new heights.

I have enjoyed your wonderful acting as Liberty from the very beginning and felt all your pain in not knowing your biological dad plus all the other heart-wrenching scenes.

With much love,
Carol B. Sims

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Meredith play Liberty. She has done a wonderful job. Good luck in whatever comes her way. I forsee her becoming another Meg Ryan or Eva Longoria, BIG STAR!!!

YIPPEE!! No more Liberty!!! That news made my day!!! All the best to the young lady...I just never liked that character! Now if they would just get rid of Janet....

thank god!!! she should take janet with her. come to think about it, i wouldn't mind if she took whiny lily, parker and luke as well.

Too bad, I liked Liberty. I hope that this is temporary. With all the weird storylines lately, it was nice to have a good old fashioned 'in trouble' character. Who is going to be paired Parker with now? I hope Liberty (and I mean Meredith Hagner) comes back sometime.

I was fun to watch Meredith as Liberty. Good Luck and come back soon!!

She will be missed. Didn't care for her in the beginning but she grew on me. Yep. Wish they'd get rid of Janet. That's a person that doesn't know how to act. I mean when Brad died she hardly shed a tear! Lily's whiny butt and Luke and Noah can go before the big exit too! Boring! Hope the play out a nice ending for us ATWT fans!!!!!

Ahhh! I really liked Liberty. Good Luck Missy

I hate to see her go, however since ATWT is leaving the airwaves in 2010 she might just need to find another job. GOOD LUCK!

Sorry to see her go I liked Liberty, but i did think she was a little hard on Jack. Not liking the luekema thing that is about to happen but I wish Meredith well and I'll see u in the movies.
And for the record I love Janet and her quirky ways.
