After numerous rumors, it's finally been confirmed that Tamara Tunie will be returning to
As The World Turns this fall. The actress was last seen as Jessica Griffin in February of 2007. Since then she's been busy working on Broadway and on Primetime as Dr. Melinda Warner on "Law & Order: SVU." The actress played the role of Bonnie's mother and Oakdale's top lawyer off and on from 1986 until 2007.
At the moment, she is only scheduled to appear for one episode but this may be extended. There's no word on what will bring her back, but it could have something to do with Bonnie's upcoming exit story.
Soaps.com is happy to welcome her back. Look for her to return in mid-October.
