Forbes March Coming to As The World Turns!!

Several days ago, Soaps.com scooped to you fans that As The World Turns was casting about for a new professor at Oakdale U. Now, we can tell you that the role has been cast – and Forbes March (ex-Nash Brennan, One Life To Live, ex-Scott Chandler, All My Children) will be taking on the role of Mason!

Our sources tell us that Mason will help Noah with a documentary about his father. The character is also rumored to be gay, but according to our sources Mason won't become part of a love-triangle with Luke and Noah.

Forbes' first airdate is slated for July 14.

In other 'Nuke' related news, don't forget that Daniel Hugh Kelly is also slated for an Oakdale return as Colonel Winston Mayer. Col. Mayer was last seen jumping into the Hudson River to escape military police – and Noah! Although he has been presumed dead, a body was never found. Noah has often wondered what happened to his father.

Daniel's first airdate is slated for June 23.

Well I stopped watching this show,but he is well worth watching.I will have to check him out come July.

Why not do something ground breaking - have a love triangle. It's the norm for straight couples. Luke and Noah are often put in unrealistic and often boring situations. Shake the show up a bit!

I hope it is NOT another gay story line! It will be the end of my 30 years of watching.

If I invested 30 years into a TV show, I'm not going to stop watching because of a storyline I don't like. That's a bit dramatic. It's 2009; change is going to happen if you like it or not. Isn't it healthier to embrace change and diversity rather than hold on to anger? Takes way too much of your time too.

hades76--Couldn't have said it better myself. I have watched ATWT for way over 30 years and I would not stop watching just because I didn't like a storyline. If that was the case I would have stopped watching SEVERAL times over the years. As you say it is 2009. I have never been afraid of life changes. I have enough to worry about without caring whether someone is gay or not. Or if they are doing something I don't approve of. I don't understand if they stopped watching why are they posting?

I'm sorry if your delicate fancies are ruffled by some hot Nuke action. I mean, I would much rather watch some scum bag kid nap his wife's kid simply to get revenge, a mother take advantage of her teenage son to hide her drinking problem, a woman get pregnant then miscarry then get pregnant again in the course of a month while another woman does the exact same (god forbid they use either of those fetus' stem cells for medical research because that would make baby Jesus cry), and a teenage couple getting married but not have sex (yes this was the most realistic story ever). In short, if it wasn't for the NUKE storyline ATWT would have been crap for the last 2 months, so stop complaining.

I'VE never really watched ATWT I've checked to see Roger .And was glad we have TREVOR on OLTL instead! Roger makes a better Paul then, Todd but sense Forbs is on I'll check it out ,I am so proud Forbs a CANADIAN like Yani from Y&R,Its time there were more gay s/l however I'm glad ATWT is on earlier so I don't have to miss TODD/TREVOR!

Its been a few years since I watched this soap. After hearing Forbes March is being cast-I enjoyed him as both Scott and Nash- I be tuning in again.
