After several weeks of grueling competition, the votes have been cast and As The World Turns has a new cast member! The InTurn3 competitors had their moments in the sun last week as Michael, Nell and Justin played out their parts.

Michael played a signing sailor who gave Noah a clue to his father's whereabouts. Justin played the real Detective Coyle, who helped Luke reach Noah and Ameera in time. Nell played Detective Gordon who was working with the Colonel and imposter-Coyle. During the competition, Micheal received the least on-screen time while Justin received the most on-screen time.

Michael Park (Jack), Terri Colombino (Katie) and Austin Peck (Brad) were on hand, along with Executive Producer Chris Goutman to give the glad news to one InTurn. Austin joked that the Inturn's were trying to take his role on the show.

When all the votes were in and the results were tallied, Nell received 36% of America's votes to win the 13 week contract role; Justin, who placed second, received 35% of the vote. Talk about a close competition!

Nell said, "This is my dream! I was born ready and this is my time!"

30-year-old Nell is from Washington D.C. and when she isn't acting can be found ballroom dancing. She says her strength is her endurance but her weakness is her impatience. Oh, and her favorite Oakdale character? Katie! She is a Mets fan and loves to snack on cookies.

Past InTurn winners include Alex Charak (Elwood) and Ryan Serhant (ex-Evan Walsh IV). Lauretta Vaughn, InTurn 2's runner up, played Kit from 2007 - 2008.

This year the competition was even tougher and many fans of the online hit are hoping that both Justin and Michael may win smaller roles on As The World Turns in the coming months.

Soaps.com congratulates Nell on her hard work. We can't wait to see you - and your new character - on screen very soon!
